Just pop the letters into the QWERTY format, and then from the keyboard/mouse pane of system preferences change the keyboard to English US (or whatever you want). I bought my MB in the US (and live in the UK) so I just switched it. I was too lazy to find a 3 key with a ? on it though:pp
You bought a MBP with qwerty french Canadian keyboard in the us?

Lol no. My post made no sense at all though :pinch: :p

What I meant to say was that my using a KB from the US, but with a UK setting meant that if he moved the keys of his MBP around, he could use it as normal (after changing the language in the settings).

MacBook (13-inch, Aluminum, Late 2008)

2.0GHz

Intel Core 2 Duo

2GB DDR3 Memory

160GB hard drive

NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics

Will be putting 4GB DDR3 in it soon and upgrading the hard drive to 7200rpm or SSD in the next few years. Assuming I don't sell it before then! :p

I have quite a few C2D Macs, but my Main machine was the C2D 2.8Ghz Extreme...I had to replace the screen 2 times due to burn in, about a week ago I called apple again due to it happening on the 3rd screen and asked for a new computer. Not only did they send me new computer, it's the new top of the line model:

C2D 3.06Ghz

4GB Ram

500GB HD

Geforce 8800GS

I can't believe I've never posted in here :p

Did you do your on install of your HD or Apple Tech? And if you did was it hard? And do you have instructions would like to put a western digital green drive 500GB in mine instead of the standard 250GB

Currently using this one:

MacBook Pro 15,4"

  • Intel Core Duo 2,00 GHz
  • 2GB RAM
  • 100GB HD
  • ATI X1600
  • OS X 10.5.5
  • XP SP3
  • ArchLinux (from bootable USB stick)

but I ordered the new MacBook on the last day of the back-to-school promo :)

MacBook 13,3" Uniform body

  • Intel Core 2 Duo 2,00 GHz
  • 2GB RAM
  • 160GB HD
  • NVidia 9400M
  • OS X 10.5.5
  • Vista SP1
  • ArchLinux

Slight Update:

Alu MacBook

Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0Ghz

2GB Ram

160GB HD

Nvidia 9400M

OS X 10.5.5

Vista SP1

Basically, the entry stock one. I have a hatrid of backlit keyboards, so I decided to take the buy-low-and-upgrade route - I have a 500GB hard drive and 4GB of DDR3 on the way (the crazy thing is that it cost me ?190 for the ram and hdd, which makes this one - 2.0ghz, 4GB ram, 500GB HDD and no backlit keyboard ?10 less than the high end MacBook, and I have a spare 160GB HDD and 2GB of ram).

    • Im in Ohio, and my VPN endpoint is in Boston. If that helps, it does happen both on and off the VPN. and again only in Edge.
    • It is such a shame. I used to really respect Neowin's articles.
    • So.... slower fixes and slower security updates are preferred? I mean, there is no goldilocks zone here until it can literally update without ever needing a restart, and even then I'm sure someone would complain.
