Pink Floyd Veteran Posted October 18, 2008 Veteran Share Posted October 18, 2008 Just pop the letters into the QWERTY format, and then from the keyboard/mouse pane of system preferences change the keyboard to English US (or whatever you want). I bought my MB in the US (and live in the UK) so I just switched it. I was too lazy to find a 3 key with a ? on it though:ppYou bought a MBP with qwerty french Canadian keyboard in the us? BoJo
You bought a MBP with qwerty french Canadian keyboard in the us? Lol no. My post made no sense at all though :pinch: :p What I meant to say was that my using a KB from the US, but with a UK setting meant that if he moved the keys of his MBP around, he could use it as normal (after changing the language in the settings). AmericanConservative
I have quite a few C2D Macs, but my Main machine was the C2D 2.8Ghz Extreme...I had to replace the screen 2 times due to burn in, about a week ago I called apple again due to it happening on the 3rd screen and asked for a new computer. Not only did they send me new computer, it's the new top of the line model: C2D 3.06Ghz 4GB Ram 500GB HD Geforce 8800GS

Brian M. Veteran Posted November 1, 2008 Veteran Share Posted November 1, 2008 Slight Update: Alu MacBook Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0Ghz 2GB Ram 160GB HD Nvidia 9400M OS X 10.5.5 Vista SP1 Basically, the entry stock one. I have a hatrid of backlit keyboards, so I decided to take the buy-low-and-upgrade route - I have a 500GB hard drive and 4GB of DDR3 on the way (the crazy thing is that it cost me ?190 for the ram and hdd, which makes this one - 2.0ghz, 4GB ram, 500GB HDD and no backlit keyboard ?10 less than the high end MacBook, and I have a spare 160GB HDD and 2GB of ram).
