I wont make a shellstyle and that's finall. I will ignore everything about there not being a shellstyle from now on cause it's starting to get pretty annoying :/

Use it as it is or dont.

Wh0ps. I forgot about me saying that. And Daeron Tin?viel is right anyways, it looks better without then with.

I think acies is right. I use 2 monitors myself at 1280x1024 and I think they are using too much space as well. They do look nice though, if they didn't break the explorer windows maybe then I'd use them.

@Tweaker: Alvi 84 was right, we where talking about the logon :p

My Bad! Question - Wouldn't it have been better to keep the Orange button as the active button since the Startbutton, tabs and progressbar are Orangeish and have the inactive button as blue? Seems like that would have kept the color theme flowing? Also, the hidden text is a simple fix and the color selection still goes with the theme. I changed the Selections/Background Highlighted to 128,128,128 and the Menus/Menu-Highlighted Background to the same 128,128,128.

I don't know why a lot of people are complaining that not having a shellstyle in a theme is the end of the world. I'm a Multimedia developer and whatever I do I must follow the client's wishes as it is their product, but in this case I'm paid to do it. Since Capric0rn is doing it for the sole being that he enjoys it should be enough. It is his work and he is entitled to do whatever he feels is best for him and his theme, and you have no authority over him for it. Be grateful that at least we're getting a theme that not only looks good, but functions really well. If you are really that desperate in getting a shellstyle, the best way is to create your own shellstyle, or better yet, create your own theme if you feel you wish to criticise other people's hard work. It is one thing to give a suggestion but it is another to order a change just for the sole being that it does not suit you.

Scirwode

@Tweaker: Grey for selection doesnt go with the theme. And about the buttons, seems you dont really understand it. The blue is a active button, orange for hover, grey for normal state and plain white button for inactive. The blue is there to get the attention from a user.

@Scirwode: Thanks, I really appreciate what you've said. I hope it woke some people up :)

Very well said Scirwode. Capric0rn has been working on this for months now, and has put all his effort into every single minor detail of the theme that most people wouldn't even care about. Show a bit of appreciation people, and just stop all the whining for once, for it is driving themers insane.

hey Cap I have a request.

While you are working on this project and making updates, would you mind putting a link to the dA page in your sig or something, or even better and have em3 edit his first post to show a link for yours. Problem is having to remember which page it was that you actually linked to the download, especially now since the word is getting out, and people are posting more about your Black version.

Thanks

That logic would suggest that the tabs be changed to blue. but it's orange because that is the active tab and goes well with the flow. Gray does it for me since the rest of the theme has Grey throughout. Granted the black looks better but the hidden text problem is there with it.

Really.. if you know it all so well then please, just please make your own skin. See what people like and dislike about it. Then keep changing the things that YOU like so that the rest likes it as well. It's really hard to make something that everyone likes.

You're taking it to personal. It is nothing against YOU. However, at times people make suggestions that weren't seen by the creator that if one looks subjectively they make may yeah that makes sense. I like you work and em3's. I understand that everything seems like a criticism but I don't think that is what people are intending. Cheers!

You are asking me to change stuff in this skin that dont need a change. The grey selections just look cheap that way and dont do the skin justice. If you want to change those things that's fine by me. But I wont do the same.

The tabs etc are orange cause they aleady have the attention that way. The tabs to the left and right already have a different color then the active tab. Same goes for the checkboxes etc.

Great! It's you theme and you surely have the right to do what you want or don't want. We all appreciate your work, time and effort. :D Have a good one!

It supports magnet links, .torrent files, resume data, sequential downloading, per-file priorities, and even imports from qBittorrent. Power users benefit from integrated RSS auto-download with regex filtering, duplicate detection, and automatic tracker lists from Stremio. Streaming is seamless thanks to auto-detected players like VLC and IINA. BATorrent includes robust VPN tools—interface binding, auto-detection for WireGuard-based services like Mullvad and NordLynx, kill switch, proxy support, and IP filtering. A full WebUI enables remote control, while integrations with Plex, Jellyfin, and Emby automate library updates. With themes, speed scheduling, system-tray alerts, and cross-platform support for Windows, Linux, and macOS, BATorrent delivers a polished, high-performance torrenting experience. It closes the remaining gaps with qBittorrent and fixes the Windows settings/tray/splash issues several of you hit. Fixed Settings now actually save. A whole class of preferences — speed limits (and the alternative limits), max active downloads, seed ratio, listen port, max connections, DHT/uTP/encryption, VPN interface, kill switch and proxy — weren't being persisted and reset to defaults on every launch. They now round-trip correctly. (Thanks to everyone who reported "the upload limit always goes back to 0".) Splash and tray toggles stick on Windows. Turning off the startup animation (or "close to tray") no longer reverts — the Windows registry stored these booleans as integers and the UI was misreading them. Close-to-tray hint. The first time the window hides to the tray you get a one-time notification, so the app doesn't look like it vanished (Windows 11 tucks new tray icons into the overflow). macOS Dock icon size. The icon filled its canvas edge-to-edge and rendered larger than neighbouring apps; it now uses the standard safe-area padding. Native file picker language. The "Torrent file / All files" filter in the open dialog follows the app language instead of being hard-coded. Added — qBittorrent parity Alternative speed limits toggle — a turtle button in the toolbar flips your throttled limits on/off instantly, independent of the scheduler. Follow system theme — switch light/dark automatically with the OS (Settings → Appearance). Pre-allocate disk space — reserve the full file size up front to reduce fragmentation (Settings → Downloads). Recheck data on add — optionally force a hash check when adding a torrent, so existing or partial files on disk are detected. Port status indicator — a 🔴 dot in the status bar shows whether your listen port looks reachable (UPnP/NAT-PMP + listen state; fully local, no external check). Add torrent from URL — File → Add torrent from URL (Ctrl+U) fetches a remote .torrent and routes it through the normal add dialog. Export .torrent — right-click a torrent → Export .torrent to save its metadata file. Already there (in case you missed it) Watch folder — auto-add .torrent files dropped into a monitored directory (Settings → Files). This release just surfaces it. Incomplete files already carry a .!bt suffix until they finish. Under the hood Regression tests for the settings-persistence and Windows boolean bugs. A new Qt Quick Test harness covering the startup splash and the design-system widgets. • Disabling open on hover, great! That was so stupid! They need to do a fix, where if a network share is disconnected, it doesn't hang when opening "This PC" for 20 seconds.
