If people are suggesting good walls for this orange-tinged theme, might I suggest this one? The subdued orange sky works well with the brighter CG work at the foreground, which also matches that of the theme itself. Looks real nice on my desktop :p

I really like that dock theme too! I will look forward for the release. ;) Are you using RK Launcher?

Capric0rn and em3, thanks for this great visual style! I used LE5 Black till today, it was my favorite VS, but I like this one even more :)

By the weather widget it looks like Objectdock to me.

And Capricorn, I know you aren't including the shellstyle, but will you be uploading the one you posted earlier? (Sorry to bother you about shellstyle  )

@ViperAFK: What's the use in that? Then I might as well include it with the skin if I want to release it.

@The Regal Wind: You need to edit the skin with Resedit if you want to change the startbutton.

@peterPL: That goes nice indeed :)

I did a silent update on devART. The updates arent that noticable so not I wont post what I've updated :)

I Guess this got me confused (Makes just about as much sense as what I said :shifty: )

" I already made a shellstyle as you can see a few pages back but I wont include it. "

Updates

- Added a shellstyle cause the demand was high.

- Made the hover in the columns in detail views more noticable.

- Some minnor unnoticable color changes.

I hope everyone stops asking about the shellstyle now :)

Hahaha, so many updates. So little time to tweak! I guess it is good that a shellstyle is included. Thanks for that, Cap. Is the VS perfect now?

@The Regal Wind: I think you'll have to edit the actual startbutton image. In fact, yes. You need to open up the .msstyle file and locate 'STARTBUTTON.PNG' and add on the Tango Windows flag. I think you can just overlap the vista one since they should be pretty much the same size. That way you won't have to do too much work :) Although, if you wanted to make the start button black you might as well start over from scratch.

^I will fix that tomorrow and post it the day after. That way I can atleast test it myself. Sorry that I have to update it many times, but I have no beta testers so I have to do the testing on my own.

here is shellstyle with fixed colors it's easy to fix it for example in ResEdit change values from 255,128,0 to 255,160,0 I think this color is correct :) and change colors in textures for hide/show list buttons too

@Capric0rn - if You want I can share this fixed shellstyle, you will have less work :)

    • Any so called performance increase will be in milliseconds, which nobody will actually notice in real world usage.
    • All it does is use the CPU more efficiently during boot to speed up boot times. That's it. Yawn....
    • It's not a one or the other kind of thing. Software should run efficiently, and the operating system should appropriately manage the CPU clocks. You could have the best most optimized software on earth, and it will still run faster if the CPU does a better job of boosting as needed. All this is doing is pre-boosting the CPU based on user actions, instead of waiting for the normal detection mechanism to kick in. If the OS knows it is about to need more CPU, why shouldn't it use that knowledge? It's the same idea of downshifting before passing someone, instead of just burying your foot into the peddle and waiting for the transmission to figure out what you want to do.

    • There really isn't anything magical about the low latency profile, other OS's do this as well. All they're doing is using your CPUs boost clock options in a more smarter way.
