Well, just stopped by to say that the black version of LE is just great, congrats!

I really like the details in orange, and the theme as a whole is really easy on the eyes, that's good for people who work on the computer and can't be distracted with Windows visuals.

yea thanks Capric0rn for all ur work into LE 5.1 Black, and thanks em3 for the original. There is still 1 thing i think that could change, and thats not the skin. Do you think you can get em3 to add a link to LE 5.1 Black on Deviantart in the first post on this thread? It would make getting to it easier thx :D

Edit: Here are some things ive found in the new download, they arnt exactly bugs but just thought id point it out.

* The Description of the .dll files are in german, just kinda odd mabe u can put it back in english or dosnt really matter

* There is a Shellstyle.dll.of file in the NormalColor folder, im not sure if thats needed or not, since its a .of file. again these might not be bugs because i dont make themes i just use them, so i dont no if this is intentional. Mabe that .of file just got in by accident, but if so it still is taking up extra space in ur download so i thought i would point it out.

great job to all. This theme is growing HUGE.

I didn't make any shellstyle :p I was going to and I just might since I have nothing else to do (except update six different skins) but I haven't actually made any shellstyle. That was peterPL. Didn't he do a great job on those task explorer thingies? Very nice!

@acies: SPIFFTASTIC! Minimalistic yet incredibly attractive and usable. I think that with the Black version of LE, a smaller, less obtrusive tray button is needed so as not to distract the user. Maybe that is why Capric0rn made the current tray button so teensy lol. Can you release those images? Are images allowed to be released for personal modding as long as the VS isn't redistributed? Am I making any sense?

EDIT: AHH! Too slow. Thanks for the buttons acies!

@zeer88 and brunok: Thanks you guys, that's really nice to hear :D

@Boktai1000: You can delete the *.of file. I did that so that I could save the shellstyle without turning it off :p And the language is not German :p It's the language spoken in em3 his country. He made the original shellstyle so I based mine on his :)

@peterPL: That looks quiet nice :) I hope it's the jpeg compression cause the orange lines don't match the orange line in my startpanel :p PM me to ask for permission so I can officialy give you permission ;)

I might tweak the original shellstyle in the next coming days. Like the orange arrows etc. I'll keep you guys updated :)

I'm working on an update to my Miranda-IM skin as well. It will have a dashboard this time. You can see a early preview on my deviantART page. Suggestions for the Miranda-IM skin are more then welcome and if there are people that want to beta test it for me, that's more then welcome as well :)

@Bawx: A shellstyle is the pane on the let in a window with common tasks in it etc :)

Looks nice. Unfortunately, I've just upgraded to Windows Vista as I needed it for a bit of work I'm doing so no more Luna Element for me :( . Oh well, I guess i just have to wait until something comes my way... :whistle: :shifty: :laugh: .

      Windows 11 gets useful new File Explorer features in the latest build by Taras Buria Friday Windows 11 preview builds are finally here. After skipping one week, Microsoft is back to releasing preview builds for Windows Insiders to try. This time, Insiders in the Experimental Channel can download build 26300.8687. Its changelog does not contain anything major, but there is still useful new stuff, such as some new conveniences for File Explorer, Windows Update improvements, better Windows Search, a new search provider for the built-in GIF library, and more. Here is the changelog: [Windows Update] As announced in the Windows Update announcement blog, we are now bringing a new unified update experience to reduce the number of reboots you see per month. We are starting by coordinating driver, .NET, and firmware updates to align with the monthly quality update, reducing the update experience to a single monthly restart. See the blog for more information. [File Explorer] Middle-click to open a folder in a new tab is now supported in the Address Bar and the Home page for a more consistent and efficient tabbed navigation experience across File Explorer. Improved screen reader announcements for conflict resolution dialog ("Which files do you want to keep?") when moving/copying files. Made some more improvements to how File Explorer responds to increased text scaling. [Search] Finding apps is more forgiving. Search is better at handling typos, dropped letters, extra letters, and partial words for apps. Queries like “utlook” can still find Outlook. Settings results are improving. We’ve made ranking improvements to help more relevant settings appear higher in results. [Taskbar] Improved reliability of loading the system tray area of the taskbar. Fixed an issue where tooltips might unexpectedly appear on top of the Start menu icon in the taskbar when using the taskbar in an alternate position. Also fixed a few other visual polish issues when using the taskbar with small icons. [Windows setup] The digital safety of users and supporting families is central to how we think about the Windows experience. We're improving information on parental controls and their availability during Windows setup, so families can more easily understand available protections and make informed choices from the very beginning.       So.... slower fixes and slower security updates are preferred? I mean, there is no goldilocks zone here until it can literally update without ever needing a restart, and even then I'm sure someone would complain.
