Man Sues Apple Over iPod Hearing Loss

Recommended Posts

Do you think they'd offer him a the intel powerbook to settle it?

Possibly, but then he'd sue again because when he spent 72 hours straight on the computer, his eyes hurt.

Or because the volume went up too high

These kinds of things infuiate me!! For crying out loud, use some common sense!! I really don't know what is wrong with people these days. I don't know if it's something in the food or water, or if there were a lot of babies in the last 30 or so years that were dropped on their heads several times, but there seem to be a lot of people suffering from severe retardation these days. And it's not just stupid lawsuits like this, people in general are whiny little b^tches. It drives me insane!!!

There was another recent lawsuit where a fan got in a fight with a basketball player's wife and the player went into the stands to stick up for her. Now this guy is sueing for emotional trauma. I saw an interview with the guy and he was so whiney and such a little b^tch, I just wanted to smack the hell out of him! Clearly he was just using this as an opportunity to make some cash.

I hope this guy loses big time and has to pay all the court fee's as well as Apple's super expensive lawyer fees and has to live on the streets sucking a big black guy named bubba's penis for pennies.

I do think this bloke is a mug but Apple shouldn't make iPods go to that loud if over a period of time it damages your ears? Thats bit silly don't you think? Its like saying well I got this TV if I watch it for to long I will go blind or damage my eyes. Its pretty much unsafe if you ask me for Apple to sell mp3 players which if turned up to loud damage hearing over a period of time.

That is like saying car manufacturers shouldn't make cars that go faster the 65MPH. People just plain need to use common sense. We shouldn't have to "hand hold" everyone.

Well, the title is kinda misleading. This isnt the typical "I'm sueing apple because I'm deaf because of the ipod". This guy is beeing kinda rational.... he's sueing because he things there are not enough warnings.

I don't think that's a "sue" thing, anyway. But he's got a point on the warnings.

He's not sueing becuase he may become deaf, if he sues because of the lack of warnings, it's because he read the warning and he knows, so that would lead him to nowhere.

    • Password Safe 3.72.0 by Razvan Serea Password Safe is a password database utility. Like many other such products, commercial and otherwise, it stores your passwords in an encrypted file, allowing you to remember only one password (the "safe combination"), instead of all the username/password combinations that you use. Once stored, your user names and passwords are just a few clicks away. Using Password Safe you can organize your passwords using your own customizable references—for example, by user ID, category, web site, or location. You can choose to store all your passwords in a single encrypted master password list (an encrypted password database), or use multiple databases to further organize your passwords (work and home, for example). And with its intuitive interface you will be up and running in minutes. PasswordSafe was originally designed by the renowned security technologist Bruce Schneier and released as a free utility application. Password Safe 3.72.0 changelog: Fixed bugs Improved font scale handling - should resolve font size issues on high resolution displays. • I've got a SoundBlasterX G6 that I use in my streaming setup. Sounds great to me and I've had zero issues with the ancient software package so far in Win11. That G6 has 7.1, Dolby, fully working SPDIF and since it's a USB device it's outside of my rig so I don't have to worry about EMF distortion. Looks like for now this is a pass for me as I think I have better hardware....
