Bizkit
Is anyone else getting Gmail to work? I don't get any errors when I check my mail, but when I sent a test message it didnt say I had any new mail. Just wondering if its my computer or if anyone else is getting it. phend-one
Found a new thing: Right click a tab, "Lock Tab". Prevents any tab from being accidentally closed! :D Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/429740-opera-9-tp2-released/page/3/#findComment-587165211 Share on other sites

I guess its due to refreshing. FF delays also. I need to click inbox again for it to show up. No biggie. Bizkit
Well, Gmail shows that I have the new mail, but the built in email client doesn't show that I have any new mail. Its alittle upsetting, cause there are no errors in it. Robbie Khan Reviews Posted February 7, 2006 Reviews Share Posted February 7, 2006 You gave it a full 10 minutes before you "gave up"? It takes WAY longer to get used to a product and like it. I had previous versons and this is no different other some some small new features - the adblockers is NOT like firefoxes extension either and is nowhere near as powerful. Bizkit
So I just tried the Bittorrent, and it almost froze my PC. And, it wouldn't configer with the setting I have set. It said that it was still firewalled, but all the other apps have no problem. Also, Gmail still not working. Other than that, its not too bad. x-byte
hi, if this is what you are talking about then it already has it. No, I mean that you get an overview of all the tabs on one page. I really like that feature, and hopefully all browsers adopt this. In what way isn't it as powerful? you can use any wildcard you want to for instance.... *.ad.* for instance... *intellitxt*, etc etc... It blocks loading from any url you want to, just like you would expect it to. .Neo
Trashed Opera because it offers practically nothing based on Mac OS X technology, they didn't even implement Aqua properly. The way I see it Opera is a Windows browser ported to Mac OS X. RootWind
Opera isn't going to get powerful ad blocking until it supports some form of extensions. Supporting ad-blocking by default will result in damnation from every content provider out there. pixated
Awesome. They took their time since the last preview but it was worth it. I've used it as my main browser on windows for years, and still do. However Opera for Mac's is not nowhere near as nice. They need to make a more native interface there.
