[OFFICIAL] Xbox Live Latest Demos

Recommended Posts

Well, I tried the 'Saints Row' demo today and I was actually impressed by what I saw. The gameplay videos I saw before trying the demo had me very skeptical but actually playing on an HDTV is something different. One thing I really like is how you can have multiple missions and such at the same time. And the controls are very fluid and smooth with a perfect layout. I'll be picking this up on release, if I can pull myself away from Madden :)

I know there has been a bit of a fiasco with this one, but anyone have the foggiest idea of when it'll hit the marketplace?? http://ign.knetiqa.com/nhl07demo.html <--- that says it's out for canadians but i'm in vancouver canada and i don't see the demo on the marketplace.

Anyone have a vague idea of when this demo might hit?

Just wondering what people think about the Test Drive unlimited demo and thier thoughts? I think its pretty good looks a hell of a lot better in Hi-Def compared to a normal screen. :) Pretty disappointed with the Motorbikes though don't think that they handle as well as they could (the cars seem to be a lot better for handling.) Or maybe I just can't drive them. ;)

Although one downfall I think is that the motorbikes are way too powerful, in races the motorbikes seem to leave all the cars back at the starting line by the time the motorbike is half way through the race. Just wondering what other people's thoughts on the demo are?

To be honest, I downloaded the 2nd Test Drive demo the day it came out and I still haven't tried it. I'm going to have to give it a try soon, though, as I felt the game had some potential if they tightened the controls a bit after trying out the first demo.

Konami's Time Pilot is now up on XBLA...

also, make sure to check out the two episodes of Viva Pinata, they're quite "unique"...  :p

Yea i just downloaded the trial version, but i'm still not quite sure what the point of the game is.

    • I think I understood the article fine. Online password managers open users up to more possibilities of getting hacked, and due to KeePass being offline and local it reduces the idea of getting hacked. If someone chooses to put their database online they're kinda missing the point. With regards to the idea of the on-prem idea, I would have two issues. I'm not sure about the first issue, but I wouldn't be surprised about them offering a cloud storage for the passwords that most wouldn't bother to switch off, regardless of if they went for on-prem or not. The second issue is that the on-prem solution for Bitwarden costs money, whereas KeePass is free and open-source (as far as I am aware). The article points out how to sync the database between devices, and I recognise that deficiency in security. But it isn't a necessity. So both services can offer a same idea, but one is free and the other isn't...choices, choices.... But to each their own.

    • I am not surprised because life is the product of a lot of biochemical and physical processes that releases various energies as a by-product. The only thing new here is the detection of these photon emissions. The researches noted this "glow" is not a metaphysical one. They don't even immediately end when one is dead. Things like fires, light bulbs, and on a bigger scale stars release a lot more "light" and they are hardly alive.
