Spidey 2 had too much sappy drama/romance in it... could have used more action and humor, still that didn't stop it from being a good movie. I hope Spidey 3 will focus more on action than romance.

imo Spiderman 2 needed that soppy romance side to get it out of the way to make room for more action in the other films. Not everyone is a fan and I think they needed to blitz the whole PP\MJ\HO relationship thing in prep for 3 so that they get the most out of the PP HO rivalry.
