i kept it on for 30min there was absolutely no sign of

Not sure why that happens, I actually don't have any problems sorting by groups on my end, but others have reported that bug and a work-around to fix it -> Sort your contacts by Status, not by groups.

I have a rather annoying bug that I would like to report.

I once went into the mode Appear Offline and back into Online now whenever I start the client I am always back into Appear Offline.

Do you guys have the same problem?

Man my messenger crashes like no tomorrow. I think I can force it to crash by opening and closing the contact window 2 or 3 times repeatedly but thats not the only time it goes down.. Very frustrating :(

Yes, you can download it off Live Ideas. It's much quicker than the update process.

Regarding A-Patch, WLM refuses to sign in after installing it. How do I get past this?

The problems I had with a-patch are none of the above :p and they were fixed by un-installing and re-installing messenger and applied a-patch again. zero problems now.

there seems to be a bug with the name changing. I changed mine in the settings but it won't stay set and randomly changes back to old names, anyone else found this?

After changing, sign out and sign in again.. the changed name will appeared..

mine does. I'll probably go back to 7.5, then download the next beta version to see if its fixed.

That's been there way before v7 :p

Mine seems to be ok, the only thing is crashing when i minimize it sometimes. But besides that, much more lighter than the previous beta version! Flat interface and a more usable contact list :D

I've got that problem. But without A-patch aplied.

It's not an A-Patch problem. I got this bug with the standard WLM .566 installed.

I hate the new look :( The first 8.0 interface was better iv sent my feedback on this hoping to get it changed if no one like\'s the new look but likes the old one send your feedback to get it changed.

That only happened to me once. I unchecked that, then rechecked it and the blue went away, hasn't come back yet.

Kinda annoying since it spoils the brand new look.

I believe it's mean tot be blue, everything else that you mouseover turns blue...

Nah, not a link type blue, the entire box turns an ugly mspaint type blue
