Also- Vegans could argue that your still using animals cells to produce food. So they could still say its eating an animal.

well, if the animal isn't killed (presumably, the cells could be culled without hurting the animal), the argument about killing animals is irrelevant. of course, that's not to say that there aren't other reasons.

I'm guessing that this is no different from replicators in Startrek :)

I'll eat it if it tastes good.

With this technology, Muslims can finally eat (replicated) pork.

Not to nitpick but this is nothing like the replicator in Star Trek. This is still grown while the other organizes atoms into a particular pattern. ;)
