BajiRav
I am looking for a good miniDV camcorder for $400-$450 I have looked Canon ZR600/700 and they both feel good. However I noticed motor noise in my friend's ZR600. Elura 100 although technically better than both of them, is reported to have similar/worse problems I have gone through Sony DCR HCxx series and kind of don't like their touchscreen menus. What is a good pick for my requirements ? - $400-450 - miniDV - Firewire and USB - smaller the better I am not interested in still photography using this. Also if there are any Canon Elura100 or ZR700 users, please post your experience. (You will notice the noise when you capture and play on a PC)
Pink Floyd Veteran Posted April 14, 2006 Veteran Share Posted April 14, 2006 if I were you, I'd wait to save money and buy one of those new HDD camcorder. This type will lenght longer since it's purely digital compared to the analod old camcorder. With the HDD camcorder, you can copy the file(s) to your computer and then burn them on dvds...
