Recommended Posts

ugghhh

for your info I got the news about the new build and release date on April 6th then told close friends on the 9th then told the public yesterday!

Man I just try to be nice then everone just #$%%^& me off

Lets see my history:

1.Info on WLM 3 months before WLM comes out and offering invites to Neowinians throught the Beta Recruitment Program.People dont beleive me but all my claims come true!

2.Beta Recruitment Program 2006-Offering Vista invites gets shut down because of flaming etc and turned into a disaster.

3.And now Im just trying to offer some info to people and get the news out there about the new build and changes etc!

And Guess what happens Disaster all of them! This is the third time Im thinking of just telling Neowin Member to(you now what) and bye!

Just trying to offer what I can!

I like your long, anger filled posts. Then I get to respond short and sweet: So, mister know-it-all-get-angry-at-anyone-who-asks-for-proof, why is it that you have no credibility? Don't bother responding, as I've already realized that you're ability to debate consists of smilies and pure, unadulterated anger. Neither of which will get you far.

Well, chill out and wait until tomorrow, he said he'll bring a proof for you...

Well Im gonna post screenshots and proof later today :)

With more additional info on the build :)

That would be a great idea, i would love to see whats new in this bulid. I did see the 5361 shots, they look prety nice,I know this one might not have any major UI changes or features, not until BETA 2, but lways love to see the new bulids :))

He got me into the Vista beta, so I trust him and I can tell you that he is not a "scammer"..

If he is wrong, then we will find out tommorow... If the build is indeed out on Monday... then we know we can trust him.. if not.. just ignore him.. no point in flaming.. relax..

@hypatech: Humbleness is what makes a good citizen. Not a yearning to be credited for the things one's done. That can be more attributed to greed, but you know what? I think its time you got back to your game like you said you would. And then, bring your proof later. Of course, if you had said that earlier; given us a time-period, you might not have suffered so much...but whatever.

@ Ark: Nobody's disputing that we're going to get a build tomorrow. Of course we are, other sources like Wendy on the NGs have pretty much confirmed this. The discussion was about whether it would be 5365, whether the news was "exclusive", and so on. At least, that was what I was talking about :shiftyninja:

Erm...according to Bruce, a Sidebar developer, it's not 100% sure we'll get the build tomorrow. It's about 70-30% chances.

That being said, you should, as I said, stop flaming him and, as ark (sorry, too lazy to copy that weird symbol :p) said, trust him until we know he's a liar or not (tomorrow). I think hypatech is pretty much right when he says such things. I don't see any reason to continue flaming in this way...don't you? :)

Its obviously pointless trying to debate anything with people who sit there pointing fingers.

 You're complaining because we ask you to stop flaming, and you continue?

WTF?

Anyway, I'll get back on topic:

Wonder if there's anything new since 5361 apart from bug fixes, in such a low build leap

I dont know, may be a few UI updates and changes BUT i'm not quite sure, and or course, the bugs will be fixed.

now, I wonder if we will ever hit the 6000 bulids or even the 54XX ones? idk, this might be a bit of nonsense. but i 'm just wondering

Of course, we'll hit the 5400s, we're around 5370...

I think the final build will be around 5575 or something like that.

your welcome, I think it will only be available to testers, not to the gendal plubic, the BETA 2 in may might be. Who knows, microsoft might acdenty let it out on connect to everyone, like they did a few times in the past ( it might not have been on connect, but it came from a microsoft site )you could watch for it around the time it said, to see if it got sliped out and got posted on connect for everyone. but most likey it may not, but who knows

    • Zen Browser 1.20.2b by Razvan Serea Zen Browser is a privacy-focused, open-source web browser built on Mozilla Firefox, offering users a secure and customizable browsing experience. It emphasizes privacy by blocking trackers, ads, and ensuring your data isn't collected. With Zen Mods, users can enhance their browser experience with various customization options, including features like split views and vertical tabs. The browser is designed for efficiency, providing fast browsing speeds and a lightweight interface. Zen Browser prioritizes user control over the browsing experience, offering a minimal yet powerful alternative to traditional web browsers while keeping your online activity private. Zen Browser’s DRM limitation Zen Browser currently lacks support for DRM-protected content, meaning streaming services like Netflix and HBO Max are inaccessible. This is due to the absence of a Widevine license, which requires significant costs and is financially unfeasible for the developer. Additionally, applying for this license would require Zen to be part of a larger company, similar to Mozilla or Brave. Therefore, DRM-protected media won't be supported in Zen Browser for the foreseeable future. Zen Browser offers features that improve user experience, privacy, and customization: Privacy-Focused: Blocks trackers and minimizes data collection. Automatic Updates: Keeps the browser updated with security patches. Zen Mods: Customizable themes and layouts. Workspaces: Organize tabs into different workspaces. Compact Mode: Maximizes screen space by minimizing UI elements. Zen Glance: Quick website previews. Split Views: View multiple tabs in the same window. Sidebar: Access bookmarks and tools quickly. Vertical Tabs: Manage tabs vertically. Container Tabs: Separate browsing sessions. Fast Profile Switcher: Switch between profiles easily. Tab Folders: Organize tabs into folders. Customizable UI: Personalize browser interface. Security Features: Inherits Firefox’s robust security. Fast Performance: Lightweight and optimized for speed. Zen Mods Customization: Deep customization with mods. Quick Access: Easy access to favorite websites. Open Source: Built on Mozilla Firefox with community collaboration. Community-Driven: Active development and feedback from users. GitHub Repository: Contribute and review the source code. Zen Browser 1.20.2b changelog: Security Mozilla Security Advisory 2026-54 New Features Updated to Firefox 151.0.3 Boosts now support a dark mode UI based on your system dark mode setting. • "This transition will take several years so we shouldn't bother doing it at all" is a naive take. This is completely normal for all specifications that cross-cut software, hardware and multiple industries. Look at the PCI specification for another example, consumers barely have PCI-E 5 yet PCI-SIG is working on PCI-E 8. AV2 will take multiple years to get adoption and even then, even a decade from now people will still have older hardware that doesn't support it. That's fine, because the savings still add up as newer devices add the hardware to deal with it. The goal is never to get 100% on the new spec overnight, but to gradually adopt it.
