DJLunacy
I finally tried this app after getting sick of Azeraus slowing my comp down sometimes while i am multitasking. While using UTorrent I haven't noticed any slowdowns at all, nice small app. Can't wait to play with the webUI

iwod
Oh right, sorry about that. I had no idea. Unless there's a very good reason for it, I too think they should add UDP tracker support, just based on the fact that they do exist. well they dont want to do it no matter how hard we ( the user ) ask them. Which is bad becoz it is the only major features missing in utorrent.
Bhav
Do you know why they won't do it?
gkl
http://www.utorrent.com/faq.php#Does_.C2.B...UDP_trackers.3F So, from what I've read on the forums, udp support won't be added because the spec is "braindead".
Pink Floyd Veteran Posted May 2, 2006 Veteran Share Posted May 2, 2006 This is possible. Copy the settings.dat to the folder utorrent.exe is contained in. I belive that this also applies to any skins as well. FAQ link: http://www.utorrent.com/faq.php#How_can_I_...ovable_drive.3F oh oh, thanks about the .dat file! very useful

Slimy
^ because your firewall is crap  utorrent doesn't send emails. If your still worried, go post on the utorrent forums.
Kraftman
Can someone tell my why uTorrent tried to send an email at around 3 am, when nobody was touching the computer? Yes, I can :D Email (SMTP) uses a specific port (if you really care what it is Google is your friend) and because some people's universites etc block all ports except email and HTTP, people are forced to use the SMTP port. Your firewall is saying that uTorrent is trying to upload data through that specific port to someone on the other end forced to use the SMTP port. Happy now

planetik
It's way over the 160KB amount :( Oh well, the program still doesn't need installing and 169KB is better than the 2MB+! :p
Toology
It's way over the 160KB amount :( Oh well, the program still doesn't need installing and 169KB is better than the 2MB+! :p Well the remote WebUI is a notable new feature so it shouldn't be that surprising. As long as the size increase isn't bloat, I could care less.
