The "Chocolate" Phone Reviewed

It would be nice if you could do more pictures of the software on the phone -- I'm more interested in this ;)

why are you selling it?

if you read the auction, it'd say he bought a few more. (Y)

anyways, nice phone, and wonderful home.

@Couture, just as uber_C said.

I'm not selling mine, I'm selling one of the two 'extra' ones I have.

@Uber_C, thanks very much.

Amnesia, How well does the UI / OS work?? Is it on par with the Sony Ericsson / Nokia style ones or is it crap like Motorola?

Also, Does anyone know if there are plans for increasing its memory size to a decent level to be better used as an mp3 phone as 128 is a bit pathetic for photos and music and if the camera will have its quality increased over 1.3?

The UI is quick, no lag or pauses.

It's a standard grid menu and it works very well and isn't complicated, although you do have to get used to it a bit.

The korean version actually has 512mb, which is odd.

I did receive a few photos of an updated model which will support a slot for a memory card, however I think it looks uglier (it looks as if they've gotten rid of the touch buttons).

However with the updated version it will still have 1.3 megapixels.

The photos look great though.

I never like the design of the W800i.

Of course the W800i is an MP3 phone AND has a 2MP camera, AND supports memory sticks.

You have a choice of beauty over functionality. (that isn't to say that the Chocolate has no specs, it's just that they could be better)

tough choice to make methinks..............

a really smart looking phone with minimal functions, or a reasonable looking phone with huge functions.

I will have to see what my paycheck on monday brings..........

Cool review!

Am I the only one who thinks that thing has a horrible design/layout? and the fact that is brown (I think). Just makes it a bit 'sickly' to look at.

Uni mate :p

I hate Colchester.

Most boring place on earth.

One taxi driver made me laugh when he said.

If England had an ######, it'd be Colchester.

It's also very easy to randomly touch one of the face buttons when handling it unless you have keylock on all teh time
