I was 18 as was my girlfriend. We met a month earlier, been out a few times and kissed but nothing more. Then on Valentines day we went out on a double date with 2 other friends.

Staying over in her dorm was not a given, as I was prepared to kip at a mates on the floor. We went back to hers and were both shy about getting changed in front of each other, but not so much as it was in the way. It was both of our first times, we were in love and it was valentines night.

For the record, it wasn't embarrassing, it wasn't "all over too soon", it was an amazing night of sexual discovery and it meant everything it should emotionally, physically and in every other way. Perfect.
