ViperSnake
Yeah, like that it kinda has that Windows Vista Basic or Mac OS X 10.4 like look, unified, simliar to what was going on with my RezBlue theme and the Blended metacity theme. ViperSnake
I see you are using Resilience, it's a pretty awesome theme! Now, I have a great idea: Resilience looks way cooler when you use it with the Almond metacity theme, it looks like the window border and menu bar are fused together! I discovered that part myself, but I didn't like the grey and green so I modded it to look better (better=blue) as you could see. Alex Shenoy
Well, here is another Linux screenshot from OpenCoder. I'm running Openbox, now. I actually just started messing with it today. ViperSnake
Thanks, it actually doesn't look as bright on my screen because I use an LCD monitor on my Linux computer, and compared to CRT monitors, they are dimmer looking. Originally, my new theme was going to be the ResiBlue one I had earlier with color mods, but then I discovered you can have seperate engines render seperate parts. But, I had some trouble getting the Ubuntulooks buttons in there...so then I redid it using Ubuntulooks as a base. Then, I added the cool menu design that made Almond go good with Resilience based themes in and volia! I used Gilouche because Almond didn't look good enough with the new colors (it's not that good at GTK adaption just yet) Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/465788-gnu-linux-june-2006-desktops/page/3/#findComment-587592170 Share on other sites
