WTF? London Airport Closed due to WW2 Bomb being

Recommended Posts

After 61 years, they only find it now?

They find unexploded bombs all the time. Usually it's in people's back gardens though, it's suprising they didnt find it when the built the airport.

In portsmouth they had to denote another WW2 bomb in a scrap yard. But they closed the main road for about 5 mins then opened it back up again.

Sometimes if the bomb may cause damage then they move out to the solent and blow it up.

Pretty normal to shut down areas while they do things like this
