dieterich
What maker do you suggest? I'm in the market for a new one (lost an old one I had) and was wondering what makers you guys & gals preferred.
Grahnman
I'm using a polarizer from Soligor and it works well enough for me with my Powershot A520. It's cheap and it gets the job done.
Brodel
I have a Hoya 55mm Circular Polarizer which works great, B&W is also a good make. The general rules is if you have an auto focus camera, get a circular and if you have a manual focus get a linear, but I know some people who get better shots with a linear polarizer than a circular one one the same auto focus camera. Pink Floyd Veteran Posted June 14, 2006 Veteran Share Posted June 14, 2006 B+W - the best, but also very expensive Hoya - Awesome, less expensive than B+W All I have is Hoya, they are the best for the price
MR_Candyman
I use Hoya circular polarizing filters as well, all of them you can spin and adjust the amount of polarization
