It was only very slight and didn't look malicious, particularly not when you consider this is Crouch, one of the most friendly guys on the team. Most importantly it didn't have any bearing on the goal itself and was nothing in comparison to the typical mal-handling that occurs during ever corner. This is just an excuse to bash England and is completely unwarranted. England gave a very good performance after the miserable first half and definitely deserved to win - it was much improved from their distinctly unimpressive performance against Paraguay. In the nine caps he has recieved he has scored six goals, and dont forget that he has only started about five of those games. He has scored more goals for England, in his past few appearences than Michael Owen has scored in...a year or so. Crouch deserves to start up front with Rooney, rather than Owen starting up front with Rooney.
