Schentler
Hi, Next year, I will be filming soccer live for the school. How would I do the name box as shown below? How would I do the score box and the count down box as shown below?

Rob Veteran Posted July 10, 2006 Veteran Share Posted July 10, 2006 OK, at the FIFA World Cup, the raw video feed is from the host broadcaster - I don't know who it is, but one of the broadcasters in Germany films it all and deals with the camera angles, replays etc. This feed is sent via satellite to all the countries that they have an agreement with to broadcast (so, in the UK, the BBC gets it). From THERE... they use a computer with software to composite their own graphics over the top of it - the score line, any players names, any penalty shoot out tables should it come to that. I'm not sure of the exact software that is used for live broadcast, but that's how it works.
Soham
in my local tv station they use raw feed and after effects hooked to the prompter which projects the compile feed to their dishes
