I've setup a new mirror for you guys. You probably don't need it but I've done it anyways.

Every new mirror helpt take the load off of the other mirrors, this is a good thing. :)

Could it be, that the Autopatcher ist infected by a certain Virus or Trojan called W32/Downloader.AEKX ?

I ask this, because my Virusscanner (F-Prot) tells me so, when I try to download the May-Update and the April-Full-Version of the programm, has anybody else encountered this problems? Or are these to files built in a way, that the meet the criteria of the virus-patterns by chance?

first of all, make sure that the MD5 hash of the file you downloaded matches the one in the release thread, if it does then you have absolutly nothing to worry about as it's a false positive.

Otherwise, please try do re-download the file, if, however, after several tried you still get a different MD5 the please report the mirror you downloaded from so the team can check it out.

well, I created the torrent files, so I know for a fact there is no virus there. I also just re-scanned all of the AutoPatcher files I have (and there are lots of them) and found no viruses at all, so I'm sure a false positive.

Speaking of the torrents, I've just redesigned the torrent tracker page - check it out here!

If you see a crappy-coloured table, hard-refresh (shift+F5) as you have the old stylesheet loaded in cache.

Enjoy :D

You need to change the description. It says 2003 RTM. That needs to be changed to 2003 SP1 as AutoPatcher doesn't fully support RTM anymore.

another typo in the footer: "Tracker run by by" ;)

Hey guys I am new to this.

I downloaded apr, may, jun, july 2006 autopatcher xp update.

But I am unable to install this update.

I started from installing apr update. When I started installing it showed this error

errorrpf2.jpg

Even though I continued the installation and finished it.

When I tried to run autopatcher from desktop shortcut it searched for some time and said that it cannot find autopatcher.exe!

I am confused how to install this.

Any help is appretiated.

Though I am using Win Xp Pro with SP2.

@matrixvipin, you need a full or a lite release to begin with, then you need to get the update releases for all the months after it and install them in order on top. the option in the screenshot above depends on whether you started with a full or lite release.

I also get this message when I'm installing July update:

Module panic on security update for .NET Framework 1.1 SP1 (KB886903)!

You are running Windows XP Professional SP2 (Locale 1033) + IE6

Parent and/or Prerequisite item missing?

What now? I have installed Dec Lite than all updates till July. I also deleted the installing folder and then reinstalled one by one but again the same message. Any solution?! Thanks in advance

@kaleza, if you have them then all you need is to add april update + may update + june update + july update.

if you still get the error, either recheck by deleting c:\program files\autopatcher and reinstalling everything, or else delete and replace with what i said before

I am getting confused over here which to install first and in which sequence, lite of full after installing April Full autopatcher.

Let me give you info that I have downloaded these updates.......

AutoPatcher_XP_Apr2006_Full

AutoPatcher_XP_Apr06_ENU_Update

AutoPatcher_XP_May06_ENU_Update

Autopatcher_xp_jun06_enu_update

AutoPatcher_XP_Jul06_ENU_Update

Also I have read somewhere not to install flash and windows media player update from April Full.

Does it arise any problem?

That's right -> not all of them are selected

AP although created only by a few individuals, gets a LOT of input from it's community base and somehow a consensus is made on what should be default and what should not.... those 82 items are basically what everyone could agree upon and the rest are up to you to choose

I HIGHLY recommend NOT turning everything on ... installing everything typically causes problems

Do recommend going with defaults and then rerunning AP to add other tiems to see if they work the way you like. Some modules and tweeks can do things you don't like. Best of luck :)

    • O&O ShutUp10 3.1.1104 by Razvan Serea O&O ShutUp10 offers a simple yet effective way to take control of your Windows privacy. It provides access to almost 50 privacy-related tweaks, most of them hidden or not easily accessible to the average computer users. Using a very simple interface, you decide how Windows 10/11 should respect your privacy by deciding which unwanted functions should be deactivated. Using ShutUp10 you can easily disable Windows Defender, turn off telemetry, disable peer-to-peer updates, turn off Wi-Fi Sense, disable automatic Windows updates, turn off and reset Cortana and more. ShutUp10 allows you to create a System Restore point before you apply any changes, so that you can revert your system at any time if you run into problems. O&O ShutUp10 is entirely free and does not have to be installed – it can be simply run directly and immediately on your PC. And it will not install or download retrospectively unwanted or unnecessary software, like so many other programs do these days! O&O ShutUp10 Free and Premium The latest version brings O&O ShutUp10 Premium, expanding the app’s long-standing privacy controls with automatic enforcement of user-defined settings. Instead of manually rechecking options after every Windows update, users can set their preferred privacy configuration once—or apply recommended settings in a single click—and the tool continuously monitors them in the background. If Windows 10 or 11 re-enables disabled features or introduces new data collection paths, Premium restores the chosen settings automatically without user intervention. The free version remains available and fully functional for manual adjustments, offering the same core privacy controls for Windows. However, the Premium tier is aimed at users who want long-term, hands-off protection, adding automatic reapplication after updates, ongoing monitoring, and optional notifications to ensure privacy settings remain consistent over time. • Fascinating...W h i t e P o w e r is now also asterisks out.
    • In the past few days I have noticed two odd moderation activities. First, when I posted the term 'White Nationist Christian' it was asterisk's out. When I changed it to **** it was allowed! Second, in the Politics is a ###business thread I was allowed to post that the GOP is a party of p e d ophiles but I was censored  when I posted the GOP are a party of p e d ophile protectors. Wtf Neowin. Please explain.
