This weekend against Blackburn is make or break for Pards...I think if he loses he will still be there...West Ham dont usually sack managers they usually let them stay till it gets to much then off they go....but the fact that West Hams value went from a European team to a sub standard Prem side is disapointing...I'm going on Sunday to see the game against Blackburn just hope they dont lose otherwise might have to rip up my seat and throw it on the pitch (I dont condone football violence in anyway).

West Ham need a new manager, shocking defeat to a pub team.

They have such great loyal fans... well mostly.

Football these days is based on the last few results of a team. If you win your last few games then you are a great manager, if you lose a couple of games in a row you are a bad manager and you deserve the sack.

People are forgetting that Pardew got you promoted, has bought some very good players, developed youth well and in your first season back in the Premiership got West Ham to the FA Cup Final and gained a good position in the league. Now ten games in people want to sack him, you should give him to January at least.

Nothing wrong with the manager.

The players need to wise up and remove their thumbs out of their backsides.

Alan Pardew was a good footballer and in my opinion has done a good job at West Ham.

Yeah I think its down to the players...people say blame the Argies but its not their fault they have to adapt to the Premiership and sometimes it does take time but you dont want to be at the bottom come the end of the year because that old curse jumps in that if your at the bottom end of year your probably going down...All this takeover talk as well has made the side really feel down because they all dont really know their futures if Kia or Magnusson take over the club

Tevez and Mascherano have hardly even played this season :/.

Pards favors Mullins to Mascherano and Tevez has started a few games but then again with hardly any of the players playing well it doesn't matter who he plays up front....Also read today that if Kia takes over the club then he's brining Carlos Alberto in from Corinthians.

If anybody likes to watch highlights of the match just try and watch them on sky sports at night. MOTD is awfull for highlights. They will always favor the bigger teams. And they won't spend much talking on the smaller teams

I know... i think they save the Arsenal till the end to keep the ratings up :p

Mascherano is a cracking little player, similar to Makelele in terms of linking the play but Mascherano can also put in a few good challenges, Pardew should play him a more. West Ham have a huge amount of strikers to be honest, Ashton, Tevez, Cole, Harewood, Zamora and Sheringham! Tevez and Ashton are there strongest strikeforce on paper and it will be interesting to see who will be first choice once Ashton comes back from injury.

Yeah I agree about Mascherano he is probably the best DM out there when he gets going but he just hasnt got going which is naff same as Tevez...Ashton is not far from coming back from injury so a few reserve games for him and I think he will partner either Harewood or Tevez...probably Harewood.

YES! Liverpool 3 Aston Villa 1

Great goals by Kuyt, Crouch and Garcia. I was hoping Manure would lose though but, they crushed Bolton 4-0 surprisingly :|

Oh well, all I care about is that Liverpool are on the rise. By the way, that Agbonlahor kid has quite a future ahead of him.

Liverpool played amazing today. In the first half especially, that is football at it's best (Y).

Nice that Kuyt scored as it was the first time that his dad saw him play at Anfield today. For those who do not know, his dad recently had an operation to try and get rid of the cancer he has between his stomach and throat. Dirk is so close to his dad, and I would like to wish him a full recovery :).

I'm not looking forward to tomorrow...and I think it will be 9th straight loss...I gave my ticket to someone else as well as I cant make it so we better not win by alot of goals (cant see that happening)

I can't wait to watch West Ham loose to blackburn. But i really want Blackburn to loose. I can't stand there style of play. They all look like criminals

You just mean Robbie Savage...right?

Tevez is not even on the bench for todays game...no word of an injury...so I would imagine he's fallen out with West Ham...typical he did that with Corinthians :(

Goaaaaaaal...Sheringham :D

I'm guessing he was sort of made to go to west ham by the company that wanted to buy out West Ham.

And i think all this take over talk and slight problems in the board rooms from those talks has had an effect

I just hope he leaves West Ham but stays in England next season.

Where would you want to see him go then?

Good Win...Nervy Ending as always...West Ham always leave the game on a knifes edge :D

Yeah my bet is a loan rather then a transfer...Radio 5 reported that a takeover could be completed this week...in time for Sundays match against Arsenal and then Chelsea after....doesn't get easier!!!

Tevez and Mascherano have been completely left out of the squad a few times this season. Guess Pardew is just going to let them adapt, he would probably play them if West Ham were winning most games but seeing as they are going through some bad form he cannot risk it.

good win for westham... my bet is on Tevez going to Italy in Jan Transfer window.

A player cant be transferred more than twice in a year, so it would have to be a loan, although I do not see why MSI would sanction that seeing as the whole reason was so he adapts to English football.

I'm not sure, I don't have anything against West Ham but it's pretty clear that so far they aren't fitting in.

I think it would be best for him to go out on loan from January in Italy so he gets fit and ready to go from the next season and with the takeover happening soon and if it is Kia who takes over West Ham he bring MSI to Upton Park so that will mean more foreign players i.e Brazilians/Argentinians...

    • Waymo recalls self-driving software after cars enter closed freeway work zones by Paul Hill Waymo, the self-driving car maker owned by Alphabet – the parent company of Google –, has recalled some of its fifth-generation Automated Driving Systems (ADS). It did so after some of its cars drove through closed construction zones. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), the affected vehicles were capable of driving through a closed freeway construction zone and continuing to drive at speed. The listing on the NHTSA website says that Waymo is currently developing a solution to fix this issue, but in the meantime, freeway driving is being restricted. Waymo will update its ADS software so that vehicles can detect when they can avoid entering construction zones. According to the Safety Recall Report, on April 20, 2026, Waymo’s Field Safety Committee began meetings reviewing an event from April 11, 2026, and five events from April 19, 2026, where Waymo’s autonomous vehicles didn’t recognize and drove past ramp closure signs into the pre-planned freeway construction zones. This took place in Phoenix, Arizona. Separately, on May 18, 2026, seven Waymo vehicles entered freeway lanes with active construction in the San Francisco Bay Area by driving between cones that were placed to show the lane was closed. On the back of both of these events, Waymo restricted freeway driving until it could address the issue. In June, Waymo’s Safety Board reviewed the issue and additional information related to ADS performances around construction zones; then, as a result, it decided to conduct a recall. This development is not good for Waymo as it adds to a growing list of technical hiccups its cars have experienced. Ultimately, it will lead to more scrutiny from lawmakers around the world who will be more cautious about letting autonomous vehicles on their roads without tighter regulation. For readers in areas where Waymo operates, does this news make you more wary about stepping into one of these vehicles?
    • I'm still on Windows 10 22H2 because I didn't want to deal with all the issues in Windows 11, so I waited almost a week before installing the latest Patch Tuesday update (KB5094127), I went ahead and did it, and it was a huge mistake—ever since then, my File Explorer has seen a performance drop of about 30% when transferring large files... Once again, Microsoft has outdone itself! This update cannot be uninstalled, either through the Control Panel (via Settings) or by accessing Advanced Startup Options. The only possible alternative would be to use system restore points, but I’d have to reinstall all app and driver updates (and there’s no guarantee it would work). Or there’s the “nuclear option” of a in-place repair without losing files or apps, but even then, all my customizations would be lost! Microsoft just can’t help but mess everything up! Way to go, Microsoft! But I still don’t want your c****y Windows 11!
    • Microsoft: Windows 11 could finally solve a major issue across AMD, Nvidia, and Intel GPUs by Sayan Sen While Microsoft has been trying to improve it, Windows 11 is definitely not flawless, as even today some issues are taking a year to publicly acknowledge. However, one area of trouble that may finally see much better results soon is graphics driver crashes. Work on graphics driver timeouts, also called Timeout and Detection Recovery (TDR), is not new as the latest WDDM 3.2 also has specific improvements regarding it. Windows Display Driver Model (WDDM) version 3.2 is supported on Windows 11 24H2 and 25H2. However, with the upcoming version 26H2, TDR crash diagnosis could go to the next level as Microsoft is introducing a new DirectX 12 API feature called "DirectX Dump Files". Similar to how system memory dump files work when a system crashes or freezes or encounters any such major issue, DirectX Dump Files (DDF) will essentially record a snapshot of the GPU execution right at the moment a graphics-related crash or hang or freeze occurs, so that developers can better understand and diagnoze these TDR and timeout detection errors. The dump will be available as a .dxdmp file for analysis and it will be a comprehensive dump file generated with detailed insights about the hardware, drivers, Windows, as well as the affected application. This should be another welcome change in this department. Earlier at GDC 2026, when the technology was first debuted, Microsoft had shared more details regarding it. The company had explained how DDF is designed to gather data from every layer of the graphics stack into a single file, eliminating the need for developers to manually correlate logs from multiple tools. As mentioned above, the dump can contain a lot of useful details like GPU hardware state information such as register values, shader program counters, page fault virtual addresses, shader memory data, and command buffers. Alongside that, it also captures DirectX runtime and kernel information, including D3D objects, pipeline state objects, device error data, adapter details, and CPU call stacks. Microsoft says the feature has been built around two primary use cases: retail device removals and local device removals. The former allows developers to collect crash information from end users' systems in the field, while the latter helps QA teams and developers investigate issues on test machines. Developers will also be able to include up to 2 MB of custom application data through new D3D12 APIs, providing additional context for troubleshooting. In addition, Microsoft is introducing three dump collection modes ranging from zero-overhead capture, which has no runtime performance impact on supported hardware, to higher-detail modes that collect more vendor-specific debugging data. On compatible Tier 2 hardware, zero-overhead dumps will be enabled by default, meaning developers may begin receiving useful crash diagnostics without making any code changes. The table below explains the three tiers: Tier Description NO_OVERHEAD Enables crash capture with no runtime cost and is suitable for broad deployment MEDIUM_OVERHEAD Provides a balance, capturing additional diagnostic data with moderate impact HIGH_OVERHEAD Collects the most detailed GPU and driver state available, enabling deeper investigation at the cost of higher runtime overhead In terms of availability, the company expects broader release to be around the fall of 2026, which should be right around the time when Windows 11 version 26H2 lands. Right now, DirectX Dump Files are available as a preview and currently, only AMD has the compatible AgilitySDK Developer Preview driver version 26.10.07.02. You can find the official announcement post here on Microsoft's website.
