****ing gutted about the Liverpool result. Gerrard missed a sitter, and we cannot really blame Kuyt for not scoring as he hit the bar, two inches lower and...

Robben is some dirty scum as well. He was on the pitch for about 20 mins and dived about 10 times. I think in truth Liverpool can play a lot better, they should stop all the long ball **** and play it into feet. Yes, I am frustrated.

I watched the Manure match, glad Arsenal got a result, they played brilliantly (Y).

WEEEEEEEEEE pompey are top of the league!!!

Man utd i thought tryed to play it out wide to much and they kept over hitting the ball. And they kept trying to do some fancy stuff like little flick on in croweded areas. They didn't seem to play it simple.

What about Ole shot near the end when it got saved my Jens?

Chelsea: They won it, home game, Drogba scored. All went good for them

Liverpool: They lost it, away game, Gerrard & Kuyt missed. All went bad for them.

You can't miss chances when you are playing the defending champions. Especially when you just have the keeper to beat. I think Liverpool should have taken the chances very well, and should have scored. This defeat will hurt them. Chelsea, well they are climbing back to the top now.

Manchester United: They loose their perfect start to the team who has won their first game.

Arsenal: They win their first game against the team with the best start at their own home.

Manchester United played well, were looking good. @Shibby, United's gameplan was to keep the attack going on the wings, as they knew without Henry the midfield would be packed. So the wingers had to do a good job, and Giggs's absense made all the difference. He does that job brilliantly. Ronaldo did try at this end, but then without a good support from the other end you can't do much. I think that Rooney's lack of sharpness and Scholes too, could have been a big factor. You are playing the game against Arsenal at Old Trafford. Players need to be on their top form. If Rooney & Scholes were not able to do well, I think Fergie should have substituted them earlier than the 78th minute. Rooney & Scholes have returned from a 3 match ban. They hadn't played much and lack of Match playtime affects. Apart from that Saha & Ronaldo missed some very good chances. Had they managed to net that, things could have been different.

Arsenal started the game as non-favorites to win this one, but managed to do just that, without Henry, without Van Persie. And credit to them for that. They played better in the second half, and that late goal made all the difference. Adebayor alone was doing the forward duties and did that quite well. Rosicky missed many chances, needs to relax a bit inside the box. Arsenal will have a huge boost in their morale by winning this game, and I hope United doesn't loose their good form now, Chelsea and United are tied now  and United needs to keep up the pressure, they can't afford to win games, it too early, the season is only 5 games old, and there is a long way to go, but the starts always lay your way to the championship.

Liverpool beat Newcastle 2-0.

Good to see Kuyt get his first goal for Liverpool. Alonso's second goal was absoloutely beautiful, definitely goal of the season, and probably one of the best goals in the Premiership ever! Alonso played a blinder tonight, he set up the first goal as well. I am glad he is starting to show his true form, I and many other people have been giving him stick recently.

:D

im sorry but no. it was not the best goal in the premiership. the keeper fell over thats why it went in. and if u think that that was good goal. you should firstly look at chris eagles goal from his own half (what a pinger) and also John makerns for Preston against manchester city. at the halfway line he chests the ball then volleys it into to the net.

liverpool did play well though and deserved the win and its good to see kuyt scoreing his first goal in the prem.

I'm off to Fulham v Chelsea tomorrow, after going to Fulhams carling cup match against Wyombe Wonderers earlier this week, and seeing how poor our defence was, I might be putting a fiver on Drogba to score the first goal. :pinch:

Yesssss ARSENAL 3-0 Shef United. Here come the winning streakkkkk!

Too bad both MU and Chelsea won, both 2-0.

Liverpool also won, 3-0.

Are you not as scared of us as you are of Manure and Chavski ? Considering we are above you this season, as well as finishing above you last season.

Just got back from the Fulham v Chelsea match, it was really good. The scoreline doesn't reflect the match at all, Chelsea had some really lucky decisions their way and Fulham should have scored in the first half, I think a draw would have been more fair.

Put some money on Lampard to score first and won ?12 which wasn't bad.

Another cracker by Riise! Great goal. Jenas' miss was crutial for Liverpool. If that had gone in it would have changed the game because directly after the miss, Gonzalez got his goal. They would have had to restart if Jenas had scored.

Great game overall. Man, what's going on with Tottenham lately

You'll Never Walk Alone.

Liverpool also won, 3-0.

Are you not as scared of us as you are of Manure and Chavski ? Considering we are above you this season, as well as finishing above you last season.

Well we are 2 points behind you but have a game in hand...

And I hate ManUtd and Chelsea more than Liverpool.

BTW MU drew 1-1. Sorry for the error earlier.

Newcastle Utd. 1 Everton 1

Pretty good game overall. God I wish Tim Cahill was on Liverpool. I love that guy.

I heard it was a scrappy crappy game.

Why do you want Tim Cahill to play for Liverpool? The guy is scum, he goes round diving and elbowing all over the pitch. Typical blue****e bitter scum. Alonso, Gerrard of Sissoko over Cahill any day.

Of course I'd take those players over Cahill, but there's something about him I love. Maybe it's his energy and passion on the pitch. You can see that in his goal celebrations.

I really liked him on Australia as well. And, from the interviews I've seen of his he seems like a nice guy.

I've actually never seen him elbow anyone, but I've seen him dive a few times. A little annoying, but who doesn't do it these days?

when he got sent off against city a few seasons ago his second yellow was for his celebration was for elbowing a city player in the face he should not have even bin on the pitch to score the goal. but i cant talk boecause we have ben thatcher, and we all saw what he did so we dont need to talk about it. cahill is a good player who gets into the box and causes havok. i would deffentally have him a city

this dosent have anything to do with the premiership but have you heard sepp blatter. he wants finals to be replayed instead of a penalty shoot out, he thinks that in other games its ok 2 have them but in the world cup final its a no. he says they could have golden goal extra time were each team has a player deduced. in my opinion the less blatter has to do with football the better!!

Arsenal are still going to win the league.

Arsenal have proved yet again they are not a Henry team.

We shall see :shifty:

My money is still on my team, Liverpool F.C. Go REDS! Hopefully Peter (beanpole) Crouch can keep his form up! Amazing scissorkick by him against Galatasaray by the way!

YNWA.

    • Microsoft finally admits its default Windows 11 25H2, 24H2 action broke key legacy component by Sayan Sen Microsoft last week released Windows 11 KB5094126 and KB5093998 as the latest Patch Tuesday updates. Following that the company also published the accompanying dynamic updates under KB5094149, KB5095971, and KB5094156. So far the company has acknowledged two known issues that have popped up after the release which include bugged-out Office apps as well as the Recycle Bin; though there could be more at play too. Speaking of bugs and issues, Microsoft seems to have finally acknowledged a problem that probably has been around for close to a year. That's because back in July of 2025 the company made a default change to the latest Windows 11 versions, wherein it switched to JScript9Legacy on Windows 11 24H2 and later releases. Hence following the release of version 25H2 in October 2025, JScript9Legacy also remained default-enabled. As a result there has been a compatibility issue ever since then. For those wondering, by switching to JScript9Legacy Microsoft intended to improve the security of modern Windows PCs by reducing vulnerabilities tied to legacy scripting like cross-site scripting (XSS), among others. XSS exploits can allow cyber-attackers to attach malicious code onto legitimate websites and use them to execute the code when a potential victim loads such a website. Hence the new JScript9Legacy engine enforced stricter execution policies and improved object handling, which should help mitigate such attacks. Microsoft today has published a new support article detailing the problem. Neowin spotted it while browsing. The company says that JScript global definitions and execution context may fail to persist across scripts, potentially breaking older dependent apps and web-based components that relied on this legacy behavior. In the article Microsoft has confirmed that the issue stems from its move away from the older jscript9.dll engine in favor of jscript9legacy.dll. As mentioned above, while the newer engine was designed to address vulnerabilities and strengthen security it also changes how JScript handles execution context. As a result functions and definitions loaded by one script could no longer remain available to subsequent scripts once execution ended. The company notes that some applications worked correctly on earlier Windows versions because the older JScript engine automatically retained global definitions and execution state between scripts. Under the newer model though that behavior is disabled by default causing certain legacy workloads and polyfill-dependent scripts to fail. Microsoft says it addressed the problem via the KB5077241 update though the fix had not been enabled automatically in the following updates. As such admins must explicitly turn on persistent JScript execution context using a Registry setting that the tech giant shared today. The configuration can be applied to individual processes or system-wide through the FEATURE_ENABLE_PERSISTENCE registry key. The steps have been outlined below: Run the following command to create the feature control registry key: reg add "HKLM\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\FeatureControl\FEATURE_ENABLE_PERSISTENCE" Under this key, create a new DWORD (32-bit) value. Configure the value as follows: To enable persistence for specific processes only: Set the value to 1 for each target process name. To enable persistence for all processes: Add * as the key name and set its value to 1. You can find the official support article here on Microsoft's website.
