Company logo for 50$

So now my turn has come to create another one of those "I need a logo" threads :D

I've started a small company and need a company logo. The name of company is Smartpoint Solutions, the prize to winner of competition is 50 USD that will be transfered via PayPal at 27th of August (the time this competition ends and winner has been chosen).

Ofcourse there are few rules as usual:

1. Image has to be in vector format, no bitmaps!

2. Try to not use way too many colours

3. Logo part should be usable even without company name

4. Professional and good looking

Thanks guys for these logos but we need something more than just text. Logotype will be used in documents, software, signs, etc. so prefereble background colour is white since it can go anywhere. One of my ideas was a brain in a background for "smart" part and some sort of target for "point" part, but as I said it was just a idea. You are free to come with whatever cool ideas you have :D

I gave a brain a shot but it looked horrible. Perhaps another artist could do it if you'd prefer it, I can't get it to look any good. However, I added some more graphics...

Yeah, you're right. I like micro's approach since logotype can be used by itself without text aswell (Ericsson anyone?) Updating requirements..

Micro> could you try more color variations and fonts? Also, I like previous logo more than arrows.
