here is the whole picture of the crossword... with the clues... :)

also have the whole screen capture (1280x720) but its about 1.3mbs in png... and i can get more screen captures if you need them... :)

**edit... just saw clue #34 across "ack's transport" > "Raft"

I'm pretty sure it's "uck's transport", meaning "Huck's transport" as in Huckleberry Finn...he uses a raft to escape down the river at some point in "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn"

Also, and this goes back to one of my previous posts, do you really want to dive into this? The answers to all your questions WILL be answered in due time, short of a cancellation of the show. The crossword puzzle is just as likely to be full of clues as it is to be a plant put there by the producers to make all the fanatics waste their time going down a dead end. It's kinda like the 'Bible Code' nonsense. It doesn't matter what the words are, if you want to find connections, you'll find them. But you can never know whether they're legitimate until after the fact anyway. Just sayin'.

You may think this type of detail analysis detracts from our enjoyment, but I assure you I really enjoy doing it. For me, it really enhances the show.

I guess you can never doubt that Lost will not be good. I went into this thinking it was gonna be amazing and I came out knowing that I was right about thinking it was going to be amazing. I like the new character Juliet that is with Jack, she's interesting. The only thing I didn't like about the episode was that you didn't get to see all the other characters but otherwise I found it very interesting and it seemed to answer some questions. I want to say that I don't like where the show is going now but I can't say something like that because the writers think their whole idea is amazing and I'm gonna stick with that it's gonna be good.

Man, jack is a total ######, he got knocked out by a single punch from a women.

lol you are right. Even if he was dehydrated or under 'drugs', he wouldnt eat the group with a punch of a woman. I think (like always) try to do is make the situation in favor of the script. They dont think (and why they should? (the ppl who write lost)) in things like this?.

Episode 4 Sypnosis been released.

Sawyer discovers how far his captors will go to thwart his and Kate’s escape plans; Jack must scrub up to save an Other’s life; Desmond’s behavior perplexes the survivors when he starts constructing an unknown device.

(I'm having problems seeing this thread atm...lol...pages disappeared)

This thread isn't working correctly for me. It stops at page 21, with the last reply being Oct 5th 03:32 by Rappy - however in the forum index it says the last post was today and by someone else! I don't know why I can't read any further than page 21 - I'm hoping this might help :(

Well it seems the last thread went ###### up. The page count went from 29 to 21, and I couldn't read any new posts (the only way I could see them was via the thread recap below the text box on the reply page).

So I'm guessing we'll need a new thread (unless the mods can access some sort of thread repair function?). If this is excessive just close me!

Where were we? I don't think Jack was 'a ######' for getting knocked out - the Others are incredibly strong.

    • Linux 7.1 arrives with an NTFS overhaul and major hardware performance boosts by Paul Hill The founder of the Linux kernel has just announced the availability of Linux 7.1. This is a stable version of the kernel that will now be tested by various Linux distributions before it is shipped to users through update managers. Some users, like those on Debian, for example, might not get it for a long time, if at all, while Fedora users can expect it in the near future. With Linux 7.1 out on time, the merge window for Linux 7.2 is now open, giving contributors the opportunity to send in major new features that have been waiting for the last two months. Torvalds warned that he is currently travelling and will be in another timezone, so timing for the merge window may be irregular due to timezone differences and limited internet access. Torvalds said that he has already fetched early pull requests to allow him to do some offline work, but the travel could still cause disruption. Right now, he is not planning to extend the release, but did consider it. He said he might later regret not extending, though. In terms of this last week of development for Linux 7.1, Torvalds said there were no major or alarming changes. This week consisted mostly of smaller driver updates to GPU, networking, and sound, networking fixes, trace tooling fixes, and misc minor fixes. The shortlog this week lists fixes for driver bugs, memory leaks, I/O and USB fixes, networking and RDMA fixes, DRM/graphics fixes, and tooling and verification improvements. Specific fixes include USB series heap-overflow and buffer overflow fixes, and multiple use-after-free, memory-leak, and refcount corrections across subsystems such as i2c, zram, gpio, and net. There are fixes for graphics drivers, including amdgpu, i915, and virtio, as well as hypervisor and virtualization tweaks affecting mshv, vmbus, and hyperv. According to Phoronix, anyone running Linux 7.1 should look out for the new NTFS driver, Intel FRED for improved performance on Panther Lake and future CPUs, faster graphics with Intel Arc Battlemage, and improvements for older AMD Radeon GPUs. If you are running Linux on your computer and everything is fine, then you don’t need to worry about updating to Linux 7.1 as a priority; just wait for it to be pushed to you. If you have tried Linux on hardware but it didn’t work properly, trying again with a distro that uses Linux 7.1 could cause Linux to work on your machine, thanks to the new hardware support.
