Lost - Season Three

in a new promo on rappys site from the everyman for himself episode desmonds talking to the new dude.

Yeah I been reading around that they are making the newbies to be quite nasty towards the losties....like you can see in that clip Paulo isn't friendly to Desmond.

As far as the speech that Desmond was talking about goes. After the explosion (...implosion), all three of them were missing for a day. I feel near certain that they'll be a flashback to that day and all will be explained, including naked Desmond. I think they're trying to make a bit of a red herring out of the Desmond knowing the future thing. But I bet that really, he was actually remembering an earlier speech that Locke made and could /just/ remember it. Maybe they were abducted by the others and escaped or manipulated or whatever. But I think this is how things will span out.

Little Tid bit of Info for Y'all...

Just so that you all know the return date of Lost after the break."Lost" will return to the schedule on Wednesday, Feb. 7, almost exactly three months after its final fall episode airs Nov. 8. The scheduling strategy is an effort by ABC to avoid repeats of the heavily serialized show; it has three more episodes to go in its initial run this fall and will have 16 weeks of uninterrupted episodes when it returns.

This is biggggggggg news so if you dont want to be spoiled dont read!!!...tho it doesnt reveal much!!!

Looks like we have a major death on our hands courtesy of Ausiello. The episode is Eko centric so read into that what you will. Who do you think it will be?Question: The preview for tonight's Lost was intense. Please tell me Sawyer is going to be OK!? Shannon

Ausiello: Sawyer's not the one you should be worrying about. Next week, a major character (as in a series regular) whose name is not Sawyer will join Boone, Shannon, Ana Lucia and Libby in the big island in the sky. And you're not going to believe who it is. I won't believe it until I see it with my own eyes.

:(:( No, not another one. Hopefully Charlie or some other character that is a complete retard like him. As long as it isn't Locke, I think I'll be ok, sad, but ok with it.

No, everything he saw (until the escalator) was real. We can confirm that from Sun's flashback, it showed the exact argument happening between them.

Lol I hope you're kidding, dude. :) Locke put the same stuff in his mouth when he went into his little tent as he put on Boone's cut back in season one---same thing---Boone hallucinated that Shannon died and a whole bunch of other crap that never happened. As for the airport flashback, it was constructed mirroring where everyone was on the island through symbolism...Jack, Kate, and Sawyer were together being checked by Ben (as it is on the island), Sun and Jin were together being accompanied by Sayid (as it is on the island), etc. It was a symbolic "dream" state. None of it was "real".

Read it earlier today.

The most obvious choice seems to be

Eko.

Now that Locke is back to being his old self, Eko doesnt really have a lot to do. So it makes sense to kill him off.

. But dont expect the obvious to happen in Lost.

I would say

Eko would be obvious because he is injured after the implosion/explosion and he would just fade away like boone did...if I had to hazzard a guess maybe sayid or jin?....you wouldnt expect them to get popped off

they record it on thrusday and post it on mondays...

still not there

Yeah I keep forgetting it and I dont see it mentioned anywhere...I have the RSS feed but they dont seem to update it

Yea, I subscribe to it via iTunes but their webmasters seem a little slack on the updating site of things... I bet if they knew it was being released late they'd sack someone. At least I'd like to think so :)

On another note, why did Ben say "So I guess I'm out of the book club then?" after the argument about the book reading... when he wasn't even there to witness it? (S03E01)

Was it because it was his book of choice Carrie they were reviewing but he didn't even turn up for the meeting...?

    • Uhm, that's every business ever, though. It doesn't matter if a bajillion users are using it. As long as it's not making bank, it's probably headed for the graveyard.
    • Yeah Patchou was an active member here, good ol' times indeed.
    • Samsung is the new Google... they don't care if millions of people are using it.
    • Still no word on Tides of Annihilation...... so weird that it wasn't shown at the big Game Fest. Guess I'll put it in the bin like Judas and Squadron 42.
    • Samsung is shutting down yet another app used by millions by David Uzondu Samsung has announced that it is shutting down Samsung Max, its VPN service used by more than 50 million people, effective today. Samsung Max VPN, if you don't know, was an Android app born on February 23, 2018, out of the ashes of Opera Max, a very popular data-saving VPN that Opera had discontinued the previous year. Samsung bought the discontinued service, rebranded it, and added a native Samsung UI to fit the Galaxy ecosystem. The app could do things like compress images, help you manage background data on a per-app basis, reduce video data consumption, shrink music files, optimize webpages, block advertisement trackers in incognito mode, and encrypt your internet traffic on public Wi-Fi networks. Image via SammyGuru If you open the app now, you'd be greeted by a shutdown banner warning that all VPN, data saving, and privacy services stopped functioning on June 15, 2026. The creators failed to provide a reason for the shutdown, instead publishing a farewell note that read: "Thank you for being with us over the years. Your support and activity truly meant a lot to us and helped shape this app into what it became." This same message appears on the Google Play Store listing for the app as well. Max VPN is the latest service from Samsung to join the list of discontinued applications from the company. Just two months ago, the Korean tech giant announced that it is completely shutting down Samsung Messages, forcing millions of users to migrate to Google Messages by next month. The only devices that the shutdown won't affect are older smartphones running Android 11 or lower. Some of the features of Google Messages that Samsung hopes will entice users include AI-powered scam detection to block suspicious links, integrated Gemini AI tools to generate quick replies, custom chat bubbles, and universal RCS compatibility for sharing high-quality media with iOS users. The platform also offers seamless syncing across tablets and smartwatches. In addition to that, users gain access to message scheduling, smart classification, and automated category sorting.
