Lost - Season Three

theory: desmond forsaw charlie claire and the baby dying, asked them to move, that didn't work, so he built the lightning tower to change where the lightning would strike.

If that isn't already obvious i guess

Yeah that is supposed to be obvious, especially with what happened in the last episode.

Interesting the man with the patch...remember the Arrow Station when they found the bible and the glass eye?...could it be the man who lived there

I dunno ... I think they used that womans death to make Jack "feel he was fixing something", also the scene where Juilliet seems to be going against Ben's orders bringing Jack into help is so that he would trust her more. Seems like a classic good cop ... bad cop thing.

This lasts 4 episodes have been good, not as boring as the first episodes from season 2. I hope this mini-series inside season 3 turns out to be gooood.

So there's two islands...

from what we know, Ben could've lied about that too. The island he showed to sawyer can be another island, or not even an island.

Think about it. If that girl is danielle's daughter, how can she travel from one island to another? Because when Claire was taken, SHE was there. And she spoke to Kate a couple episodes back, right? Unless she sneaked into the others boat or something... there's still a lot to know about that guy in the cage and this girl...

Of course, they're using a submarine, thats how they got to the boat.. and how ethan come out of the water in the first season. :)

Awesome episode :)

And it has to be the Losties island that they showed to Sawyer, which is why they were in such a flap over them getting the boat. Sail around the coast alittle and you notice the other (was there a second in the background?) islands.

beats me how the losties did not see these islands as they ventured around.

the guy in the eye patch looks a lot like the guy Desmond "killed"

but most likely i am wrong.

the guy with the tumor is ben, it shows that in the preview for next week

Whats interesting is when you look at him...he is in a station because theres recording machines behind him just like the swan...so I wonder if this is the flame station because the podcast mentioned we would see it at some time this season

Some Captures of the Promo!!!

So there's talk about Desmond "foreseeing" the future. I'd like to posit that Desmond has actually "experienced" the future.

When Desmond mentioned Locke's speech last episode and Hurley said "what speech", Desmond played it off, something like, "Oh...right...uh, nothing then". Almost as if he had misspoke, forgetting that Locke had yet to give the speech. This is much different than if he had seen the speech in a vision, in which case he most likely would have argued the point with Hurley, saying "Yeah, didn't he give a speech...I remember a speech". It's almost as if Desmond needed a moment to figure out "when" he was as well as "where" he was.

So I don't think it's so much his foreseeing of future events, so much as he knows exactly what's going to happen around him, because it's already happened once.

Now, if he foresees something that happens away from his presence, that's different. That would be a 'vision'. Like if he foresaw the boat getting stolen or something like that.

If you've ever seen the movie 'Primer', my post would probably make a lot more sense.
