Lost - Season Three

I think he means she will be the other that accompanies jack

Man if Locke and his dad ever get away from the others I think Locke should have his dad spend a little time with Sayid, so long as he goes easy on the kidney

Oh Yeah I thought maybe it was the guy who was looking after Sayid at the playpark at the barracks...lol

Pretty sure its Juliet.

Looking forward that we will see the Dharma van again, hopefully in a flashback with Roger!

Thinking about it...your probably right its Juliet!!!

That 70's episode is gonna rock so much...on Island and with the original Dharma people...maybe we will see Radzinsky...great to see Mikail again so soon as well in Juliets episode.

Looking at the trailers that Ryans girlfriend is wearing the same clothes. So it cant be Juliet.

We are on about the episode after this weeks which there will no trailers yet I dont think...unless it was in a future promo which I think there was on...

How did Danielle(The french lady) get there then?

Wasnt she on some kind of biologist ship? :s

I know I'm late. I'm just going from memory but I believe she said her group heard the transmission of The Numbers and found the island that way.

That just reminded me, though...I wonder if they'll ever bring up all that stuff about "the sickness"?

I know, if its confirmed as a Dharma flashback I'll be looking forward to this more than episode 11 (Enter 77). Never thought that! hope he comes up, that would be fantastic!

Lost, meet 24. ABC is reportedly considering waiting until January 2008 to start season four of Lost, and then run it straight through May without any repeats (like Fox does with 24). The revelation comes from a SciFi Wire interview with Naveen Andrews, who plays Sayid on the series. Andrews said, "I believe that's the plan."

This is probably a better plan than what Lost did this year. We only got to see six new episodes, and then the series went on a 13-week break. Ever since its return last month, Lost has lost 1-2 million viewers. It could also be the move to the 10 pm time slot that dinged the ratings.

The interview also reveals how Andrews feels about the direction of the show. Without getting angry or too specific, he basically says that he thought the first season was awesome, but he's not so hot on the subsequent seasons. He says he'd sure like to see more Sayid in the show (wouldn't we all?!?). About the writers, he says, "It's their choice to do what they want with that show, and they will." He sounds mildly unhappy, doesn't he?

Just thinking about the post I made...it would be such a big gap...I think after tonight theres only 8 episodes left so thats May...so May to Jan 2008...wow...they better restart the experience

Yeah i really enjoyed season 1, but season 3 is better than season 2 in my opinion at the moment.

I think Season 3 has been up and down...some episodes you could miss because they are boring while others are important and to great to miss...like the one where Lockes father was at the end...that was like omg!!!...but the episode with Claire you could of missed and not really cared...

    • "just $100 per TB"? Just? Are we trying to make this seem like the new normal? Kinda weird to make it sound like that is not a ridiculously expensive asking price.
    • The reviews you refer to mean nothing. Where there is no journalism there is no reason to call the gaming media's opinion pieces "reviews". For GP games there is indeed a metric for success - increasing subscriptions. Which turns in revenue. The only circumstance in which subs do not rise when great is being released is a Game Pass system where the company is close to fully saturated with customers in a subscription. However, in that case as the theory goes you spend aplenty in all kind of games - from shady live service cash cows and customer offending agitprop crap in purple colours to robust and entertaining single player games. And keep a solid level of profitability. Ignoring the simply innocuous but mid games MGS has released primarily of the second kind.
    • Report: Microsoft to use AWS to help GitHub deal with a major surge in demand by Pradeep Viswanathan Thanks to the surge of coding AI agents, GitHub's usage has skyrocketed over the past 12 months. To meet this demand, GitHub started with a plan in October 2025 to increase capacity by 10x. However, by early this year, the company realized that it needed 30x scale. This rapid growth has caused severe strain on the platform's reliability, resulting in several small outages over the past few months. In April, GitHub published a long blog post explaining the steps it is taking to resolve these reliability issues. In the post, the company also confirmed that it is working toward a multi-cloud architecture for better resilience. Today, Business Insider reported that GitHub is turning to Amazon Web Services to help deal with a major surge in AI-driven coding activity. It is important to note that GitHub is still in the process of moving completely to the Azure cloud. The current plan is to move the platform fully to Azure by 2027 so that it can scale better as per developer demand. Therefore, the current decision to utilize AWS might be part of a short-term plan to meet immediate demand. A Microsoft spokesperson confirmed that GitHub is using multiple cloud providers with the following statement: For Microsoft, the decision highlights the operational pressure behind the AI boom. GitHub has to stay reliable for developers at a time when rivals such as Codex, Cursor, Claude Code, and other AI coding tools are gaining attention. And the decision to use AWS for computing capacity seems practical given the circumstances.
