i was just checking IMDB about the parachutist and it says that her name is Naomi and aparently Penny Widmore is also in the episode in some capacity.

Yes.. who is this deGroots person?

Jacob is the leader of the others.. hes only been mentioned three times.. one of the first 6 episodes of this season, last episode and.. I think that episode where Ethan is getting lectured about capturing Claire by tom.

No Jacob is like a god figure...he was on that video that was playing where Karl was held and also has been mentioned where the list has been mentioned...

As for the Degroots...Lostpedia has a good article about them...worth a read :)

Grrr. After reading Rappy's synopsis of upcoming episodes and seeing the sneak peeks its gonna be real hard to wait for all the episodes!

Btw, I was just thinking about Juliet's plan. Her claim that Claire's sickness is due to withdrawal is hard to believe. Thats because it must have been about 45 days since she got her last dose of syrum. So, if withdrawal had to set in it would have set in earlier.

I am a bit surprised that Jack being a doctor bought that story so easily.

Wow, i've been to Lostpedia before...But this is the first time I actually tried to sort through everything and look for something new. I have to say, I think my head is going to explode. A very expansive Wiki. Also it shows how widespread the Lost "universe" actually is.

Somebody help me remember something about Ethan Rom. If I recall correctly wasn't he portrayed as having freakish super strenght of something in the first episode? Not just a good fighter, but abnormally strong? Am I just confused?

Yeah think we found out of his strength when he hoisted Charlie up the tree to try to hang him...

Ok, so I do recall correctly that he was super strong. But the rest of the Others are normal as far as I can tell (thinking about Sawyer getting beat up). So is this a loose end that will be addressed or something they just changed their minds on? I mean, the guy was like a super hero strong tossing everyone around, how can you just drop that?

I just went there and 99% of them are indeed crap. My favorite has to be...

Jin is a bit of an enigma. Son of a fisherman, workng for one of the most powerful men in his country!

Jin is the only person on island that does not speak or understand English. Thsi is a bit fishy, cos how can he work for such a powerful man and not understand the languageof English. Secondly the man in the Orientation video is Asian, Idont think it isa coincidence that Jin is Asian too. There must be a connection there. Thirdly Jin is also the Arabic name for a demon that posseses someone?similar to those in an exorcism. I think Jin is the total leader of the Dharma Initiative and has placed himself on the island and actually understands English. he is monitoring them all from a close-up point of view.

- Juliet is up to no good.

- There's going to be a Goodwin story in the future, although it's hard to determine if they are joking

- Something "fairly momentous" is going to happen in Catch-22

- D.O.C will take us back to the death-of-pregnant-women storyline

- The question arose of the now famous "did we miss something in the pilot" question. They called it a false rumour and that no hidden clue from the pilot has been un-addressed. The last remaining one is: "Guys, where are we?"

- We will see Dharma before the purge and we might see how they repelled the smoke monster with the sonic fence.

      Yeah, this is absolutely nothing new and EA have done it before. Burnout Paradise, released in 2008, had dynamic advertising billboards that were updated via the internet and targeted people based on location and what EA knew about them from their profile. It was particularly notable for the fact that the Obama presidential campaign ran ads in the game, in an attempt to reach a younger audience who didn't watch broadcast TV any more.       MSN defined our generation in some ways, kind of like Snapchat and TikTok have done for future generations. I have great memories of the MSN era in the late 90s / early 2000s. In the UK everyone seemed to come home from School and go on MSN for the evening. We didn't really have mobile phones then, so other than going and knocking on your friends door it was a totally new way of interacting with people. I also loved how I could talk to people I’d met playing online games from around the world. Inviting people to NetMeeting and messing about with the shared white board and webcams was pretty fun, even if webcams only ran at a couple of fps over dial-up. All the random things you could do with MsgPlus! were really fun - I suspect that made a few people jump with /shello randomly blasting Mr Hankey out their speakers! Maybe I’m just nostalgic, however I do feel the internet and computers were more fun back then.
