Lost - Season Three

Offical ABC Podcast

- The question arose of the now famous "did we miss something in the pilot" question. They called it a false rumour and that no hidden clue from the pilot has been un-addressed. The last remaining one is: "Guys, where are we?"

Can someone explain that the "famous question" is (in case it is different from "Guys, where are we?"). What would it relate to, and what was the rumour?

Any links etc.. would be useful

Thanks :)

I actually don't know this famous question.

I think you misread that. The famous question is "Did you guys miss something from the pilot episode?", as in, people are asking the LOST creators if there are any remaining clues from the pilot that have not yet been addressed.

The answer is no, every lingering question posed in the pilot has been answered, except, of course, for "Guys, where are we?". All the questions and mysteries currently going on have been 'discovered' some time after the pilot episode.

Just a quick thought:

The homes of the Others dwells inside the protective barrier. However, it's off most of the time. If that is the case, why would smokey not go through, say, in the middle of the night when they are defenseless? Instead of going on a barrage of questions, I'll just leave it at that and state that there has to be more to it than they will let on.

Theory: The smoke monster doesn't bother the Others and the only reason it was going after them was because an outsider, Kate, was with Juliet. It wouldn't have touched Juliet, but would've dismantled Kate. I'm probably wrong, but we'll see.

Thanks Jack for clearing that up :)

Another good episode. Not superb, but definitely enjoyable! I also caught a glimpse of the older lady from Desmond's previous flash back, er, re-living experience, or whatever you want to call it. It's all shaping up to be one heck of a finale!

that was a tedious 40mins of PI** POOR FILLER........ we saw absolutely development apart from the girl at the end which took them 42mins to get to zz.ZZ i almost fall asleep towards the end

even smallville filler episodes were more exciting for me

what a big fkn let down after all the hype surrounding the promo trailer

That girl looks so familiar.....

I don't know - I feel we saw her before.

Awesome finding out about Des' previous life - I don't get why people hate character development.... I mean, were NONE of you X-Files fans? What about all the "filler" episodes there? Yet no one complained! (well, season 6 obviously excluded).

I _really hope_ ABC doesn't do what Fox did to Chris; he was ready to finish off at 6 seasons, but they insisted on prolonging it and bringing the new characters in.

Just watched the DOC promo: obviously

1) LOSTies find out about Juliet - to an extent.

2) Sun has a choice: abortion or her life.. hence "I lose either way"

I never got into the X-Files, but I love character development, that's probably a reason I love Quentin Tarantino. I also don't mind filler episodes, the one episode I absolutely hate is Expose. That was the worst piece of crap in Lost history. Hopefully they never try that stunt again.

Hrm, my theory was that the outsiders live outside of smokey's domain and the survivors are being seen as tresspassers.

I'm pretty sure the woman in the photo on that monks desk is the woman from "Flashes Before Your Eyes"

Here's a crappy screenshot off SD. http://img297.imageshack.us/img297/1527/captureck0.jpg

That photo looks so fake. :p

It is amazing how poor of a photoshop that pic is! It is so bad that you start to wonder if it is supposed to look fake.

I thought this was a really good story. Lots of biblical references to tests and sacrifices which I tend to like. It really showed Desmond's growth as a person as he was ready to let Charlie die for his own selfish reasons, but ultimately couldn't let it happen. It also explained why he calls everyone "brother" which I thought was pretty clever. Anybody have a good screenie of the label on the wine?

This episode didn't really answer any questions but was a good episode about a likable and well involved chracter (unlike those other two extras).

Can anyone tell me what the song is that plays over the credits? Its a classic classical dramatic song, and I should know it, but I can't remember.

On topic: Sun is gonna die! She got pregnant, and now she's gonna die. Poor Jin.

DO NOT panic (Sun is gonna die), you can't be sure anything on this show!

The Music is from Requiem Of a Dream, also used in Lord Of The Rings Two Towers Promo.

Don't like, DON'T WATCH! Please!!!

It was a Pretty Good Episode, you are wrong!

The Ultra 9 185H features 16 cores and 22 threads running at up to 5.1 GHz. It also includes a dedicated NPU utilizing Intel AI Boost at 11 TOPS. On the graphics front, the 185H includes the still fairly capable ARC Graphics (not to be confused with the newer ARC 140T) integrated GPU with a max GPU frequency of 2350 MHz across 8 Xe-cores. It has been said that the iGPU is equivalent to the NVIDIA GeForce 3050 and GTX 1650 in gaming and synthetic benchmarks. Other highlights include an AMOLED display, LPDDR5x memory at 7467 MT/s, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, and a fingerprint sensor built into the power button. AI PC? Although the Intel Core Ultra 9 185H includes a dedicated NPU, it's only 11 TOPS; therefore, it does not qualify as a Copilot+ PC. However, it can reach up to 33 TOPS with a combination of NPU, CPU, and GPU. As I said, although we only reviewed the X14 Pro, the unboxing is the same for the X16 Pro, which I noted in my review. The packaging is quite a nice experience. The outer box houses the X16 Pro box with a small compartment that contains the 5-in-1 Dock ($40 value), which appears to be an "Early Bird" inclusion. Upon removing the box cover, the X16 Pro is revealed sitting in a cardboard compartment with two small booklets of documentation. To the left of the X16 Pro are two cardboard compartments containing the 65W charger and Type-C USB cable. What’s In The Box 1 x GEEKOM X16 Pro Ultra-thin Laptop 1 x Type-C to Type-C cable 1.8M 1 x 65W GaN PD Fast Charger 1 x Warranty Card 1 x Thank You Card 1 x User Guide All products sold by GEEKOM receive a 3-year free Warranty from the date you receive the product.
