Lost - Season Three

It was an alright episode. Nothing much to comment really, shame we only saw the girl at the end, i think Desmond was meant to see Penny but because he saved Charlie that women was in there, even though that doesn't sound right.

Should be an ace episode next week! Patchy is back!!

Don't like, DON'T WATCH! Please!!!

It was a Pretty Good Episode, you are wrong!

In your view he is wrong but everyone is entitled to their opinion...just like how I hate Jack Flashbacks other people love them...so everyone is allowed to have their say...

Followed the data from the Arctic (or was it Antarctic?) base.
you mean near the island? =P

it crashed at the sea

I mean the actual technicalities of getting to the island from air (like the oceanic flight). Because judging from the trip in the submarine it's not as easy as just getting the right co-ordinates, or is it? Do they need to break through some sort of magnetic field or something? Can you leave the island through air travel? Now that this girl has penetrated into the islands 'space' surely penny will send more.

no. not even Desmond can save this series. They should take out all that "the others" crap and continue with what was the series about. But now is too late.

It was so cheap the way they try to explain the why Des say "brother".

"Everyone" on this series has something to do with military or religion or both. This show the lack of ideas. Oh, yea, everything will be explained. Yea, someday. And would be like every answer we have now. Poor and cheap.

Can anyone tell me what the song is that plays over the credits? Its a classic classical dramatic song, and I should know it, but I can't remember.

On topic: Sun is gonna die! She got pregnant, and now she's gonna die. Poor Jin.

The song is called Lux Aeterna by Clint Mansell, also the same guy that scored Requiem for Dream and Pie as mentioned earlier...

everytime i here it i think of recquiem.....

"arse to arse"

Yeah, but in my opinion this is Still a VERY Awesome show! NOT in every way (Action, Special Effects) but I don't think it's a show great with Action, FX anyway! My expectation are Realistic with this show!

They CAN'T give you Awesome ANSWERS everytime, the Characterization IMO is still Kick Ass, so just deal with it! Or DON'T watch anymore! Either of these two, but the writers DON'T need to Hurry it up, or whatever.

It's LOST, characterization (Which NEEDS to be developed slowly) NOT 24, NOT Smallville. NOT Star Wars!!!

If you don't like the way, watch something else, that's more like 24, or Smallville, Star wars, Whatever more suitable for you Tastes!

The Pace, characterization on Lost is FINE as it is, period.

If I don't like any shows anymore, I just don't watch them instead of complaining/whining while it's obviously still great to A lot of people.

I don't think there is ANYTHING wrong with the show. I certainly DON'T demand answers every week, and want the show Finish ASAP.

The entire lost series is one full story, and each episode unravels more and more of the mysteries (Which means to me, there is no such thing as a bad episode). Last nights episode, I felt sort of ended prematurely. So premature, that I thought my DVR somehow cut off half the show (But I checked abc.com and it ended the same way).

Yeah, that's obviously called a CliffHanger... making you look forward to the Next Episode(s) to find out answers.

I actually think Cliffhanger are best way to end any episode, but Appearantly some people don't like Cliffhangers? Some people Just want Quick Answers?

Haha so close to a iphone. Real looking forward to the finale from what i have read so far!

I never got into the X-Files, but I love character development, that's probably a reason I love Quentin Tarantino. I also don't mind filler episodes, the one episode I absolutely hate is Expose. That was the worst piece of crap in Lost history. Hopefully they never try that stunt again.

I actually enjoyed Expose.

The episode I absolutely hate is that second season episode about charlie, claire and aaron.

Yeah thats right up there with Bernard and Rose episode which was utter crap...I actually cheered when they both died and I hope they never return!!!

When did they die? Didn't Sawyer make reference to Bernard this episode? Do you mean Paublo and the other hot chick?

I think he meant Paulo and Nikki, Bernard and Rose are not dead because they are coming back soon.

The Man Behind the Curtain - Insider Information

1 - We will see Ben and several 'others' in Dharma Jumpsuits, but they are not scientists. (Ben MAY not even be 'Ben')

2 - The episode will bring new meaning to the term 'Born on the island'.

3 - The formation of 'the others' is counter-intuitive. Those seeking breakthroughs on the island (the scientists, etc) are the ones seen as impure, the guys who sweep the floors are seen as 'fit'.

4 - Marvin Candle's arm loss will be explained, graphically.

Anyone catch when Hurley alluded to the Jimmy Kimmell show?

Chuppa Cabre!

I actually thought he was alluding to the X-Files episode "El Chuppa Cabre"/"El?Chupacabras" (Spanish for "The Goat Sucker")....:

But anyway,WTF!?>

Patchy is DEAD. They CAN'T BRING HIM BACK!!!

PLEASE!!!

Don't turn LOST into 24 with characters that come back from the dead and basturds like Shirley and Nina that just won't die! Please!

uhhhhhh....did you forget that this show is full of flashbacks? people that are dead still show up on the show all the time....

they died?!

i think bernard gave something to someone in the last episode

i don't remember them dying

he was referring to Paulo and Nikki...the sentence was just worded a little confusing....

 I confused everyone!!!

Yeah I meant Paulo and Nikki tho I wouldnt miss Bernard and Rose either...

Peewee

Pwroar thats some major info right there...Candles arms loss is gonna be awesome and also whats that bit about impure and fit...random but sounds awesome!!!

Rumour:

So Ausiello claims five more deaths in the finale. There is a well distributed rumor of a Major character death who is not Charlie. Now news comes out that Matthew Fox is playing Racer X in 'Speed Racer'. So let's do the math:

Jack & Locke Epic Struggle

Unprecedented Third Jack Flashback

Mathew fox in Berlin for 45 days Starting June 5th

Lost Season Four Starting Production around August

Hmmm.... Foxy is cutting it pretty close for a return, depending on what ABC has planned for a start of production for season four, and what does the commitment usually look like for an actor as far as pickups and the like go? (I don't know, I'm really asking!)

I gotta say, it looks like the long rumored Jack death is going to happen.

    • Threads scales past half a billion users, brings deeper community and feed controls by Fiza Ali Meta has announced Threads crossing a major milestone of 500 million monthly active users. And, at the heart of this growth sits something simple: communities. From books to basketball, parenting to music, Threads says its rise has been powered by people clustering around shared interests and, in turn, giving the platform its identity. In response, the platform is expanding its Communities feature beyond beta and introducing a set of new tools designed to make participation easier and more engaging. A redesigned Communities Hub will now appear in the main navigation menu, allowing users to jump between groups without leaving their feed. Each community will also receive a distinct Community Icon, giving them clearer visual identity and making them easier to recognise across the platform. Then there’s Community Progress, which is a kind of live gauge showing how close a topic is to becoming a full-fledged community, alongside guidance on how users can contribute to its development. In addition, Meta is also expanding its Community Champions programme, recognising more users who actively contribute to community engagement. And then things go more local; Local Communities is already available in 100 countries, including North America, South America, Asia, and Europe but are now rolling out with native-language tags starting in Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan. The platform is also expanding Live Chats to more communities in the coming weeks, adding features such as co-hosting and the ability to quote moments directly into users’ feeds. Beyond communities, Meta is tightening the loop between users and their feeds. Earlier this year came "Dear Algo," a feature that lets people tell Threads what they want more or less of. Now it’s being paired with a new tool, "Your Algo." It allows people to adjust how frequently certain topics appear, with options lasting one, three, or seven days. Meta says these preferences remain private and can be managed alongside “Dear Algo” in a unified settings hub. The rollout begins in the US, Canada, UK, Australia, and New Zealand. Finally, the company says these changes are part of an ongoing effort to refine Threads based on user feedback and that further updates will continue as the platform evolves.
