Lost - Season Three

Recommended Posts

Rumour:

So Ausiello claims five more deaths in the finale. There is a well distributed rumor of a Major character death who is not Charlie. Now news comes out that Matthew Fox is playing Racer X in 'Speed Racer'. So let's do the math:

Jack & Locke Epic Struggle

Unprecedented Third Jack Flashback

Mathew fox in Berlin for 45 days Starting June 5th

Lost Season Four Starting Production around August

Hmmm.... Foxy is cutting it pretty close for a return, depending on what ABC has planned for a start of production for season four, and what does the commitment usually look like for an actor as far as pickups and the like go? (I don't know, I'm really asking!)

I gotta say, it looks like the long rumored Jack death is going to happen.

Agreed.

that character has been getting on my nerves lately, the first season and second season they were pretty cool, the third season.. has been their worst season.

Peewee

Pwroar thats some major info right there...Candles arms loss is gonna be awesome and also whats that bit about impure and fit...random but sounds awesome!!!

Graphically! Thats going to be an ace scene, reckon he lost it in the "purge" or the "incident", but they could be the same. Ben in Dharma jumpsuits, reckon he was that person knowing was expecting to be in?

Never thought of that and that might seem possible. Most of the losties death have been a flashback of them for the episode, except Libby and Boone.

The fourth season is rumoured to start next January, and run to May. Like 24. Just a rumour though.

That has been confirmed. Starts Jan and finishes May.

The Brig - Promo Shots

Edited by Peewee210
Alright episode...why does the woman have to really appear right at the end :D

Next week should be awesome tho...:D

ha yeah i was hoping that for once they wouldn't save it till the end and actually explain it but i guess we'll have to wait for another episode.

now we know where Nessa went to after leaving Las Vegas :p

Thought it was a pretty crap episode

And WTF was going with the 'Scottish' accents ? It sounded like they hired irish actors to play scots , and reckoned that "pfft they are the same sound kind of similar "

I mean really WTF , I couldn't tell if the woman Ruth was Irish with a bad Scots accent or American playing a Scot but with an Irish 'twang'

The other monk was the same !

Good golly it's just a show...

3.18 - D.O.C

D.O.C stands for 'Date of Conception', in the context of this episode it is the D.O.C of Sun's baby that is in question. If the baby was conceived off the island, she will be fine, but the baby also will not be Jin's. If the baby was conceived on the island, there could be grave consequences for Sun.

Meanwhile, a distress flare will bring an unlikely visitor to Jin, Hurley, Charlie, and Desmond when Mr. Eyepatch himself, Mikhail, arrives. Will the mysterious Patchy be friend or foe? Will the mysterious parachutist survive? How did Mikhail survive his experience with 'the fence'?

3.19 - The Brig

Locke breaks away from the others and covertly drafts Sawyer to help him get rid of a 'mutual problem'.

This episode features flashbacks that reveal just why Locke decided to cut ties with 'The Others'. Locke is shocked to find that Ben has been healed after the others journey to an ancient monument. Did Ben ever really need Jack after all?

The parachutist gives the survivors some chilling information about Oceanic Flight 815, but can she be believed?

3.20 - The Man Behind the Curtain

After failing to secure Locke, Ben must face the wrath of the mysterious Jacob. Flashback's this time belong to Ben himself, or do they? We journey back to the days of Dharma to find some familiar faces that do not belong.

3.21 - The Greatest Hits

Not much is known about this episode, yet, other than it is Charlie centric. Dominic Monaghan has stated that Charlie is tortured in this episode and to escape the pain he withdraws into himself to write a song. The song may appear again, in a different form, before the end of the season.

3.22/23 - Through The Looking Glass

An epic confrontation will take place between The Others and The Oceanic 815r's that will echo a previous occurrence on the island. Among the known spoilers:

Episode is Jack Centric.

Reveals a shocking secret from Jack's past.

A MAJOR character will die (who is not Charlie).

Jack and Locke will have a long awaited confrontation.

The rumors surrounding the episode range from enticing to ludicrous.

The survivors divide, half believing Locke has betrayed them, half believing Locke is acting for the greater good.

Kate finds herself divided between Jack and Sawyer.

Jack's father will appear on the island.

A new enemy will emerge to threaten the survivors.

The 'Major' death will be either Jack, Kate, Sawyer, or Locke.

It seems Jack will be the one that dies...

Just wow to the information above!!

- Mr. Eyepatch himself, Mikhail, arrives.

- Locke is shocked to find that Ben has been healed after the others journey to an ancient monument

- Ben must face the wrath of the mysterious Jacob

- We journey back to the days of Dharma to find some familiar faces that do not belong

- The 'Major' death will be either Jack, Kate, Sawyer, or Locke. (Gotta be Jack)

NO I DON'T want him to die!!!

I think Killing Jack is a MAJOR Mistake

NO I DON'T want him to die!!!

I think Killing Jack is a MAJOR Mistake

Why?

I put Jack now in the same category of a semi major character and thats probably down to the fact he has been away from camp for some time...I see Locke as the big character and Hurley in fact is probably bigger then Jack...if he went he would be missed but I think alot would move on quickly...just my 2 cents

I DON'T agree at all. I think from the start, Jack is meant to become a Crucially Important character, and I hope he still is!

If you ask me, I like Jack MUCH MORE than Sawyer, if anyone dies, I rather it's Sawyer!!!

But I also know Sawyer is HUGE fan favorite, just like Jack is... or Was.

Anyway, has there been any Polls lately what fans' favorite characters are? I think/hope Jack is still amoung the top!

Actually from the start Jack was suppose to be killed in the second act of the pilot episode. Everything that we've since in the three seasons thus far has been them adding him in where he wasn't originally suppose to be.

    • This is about the EU given consumers options, Apple is all about not giving options and locking you into its own services, this hurts Apple far more than it hurts the EU market because it makes Apple products look less appealing by Apple refusing to offer its own service because they have to give options to rivals, the end results are consumers might look at alternatives like Android. It's a game Apple can't really win when there are alternatives and Apple will in time change course on this, until then, let Apple hurt themselves in the EU market.
    • Microsoft unveils new Surface Laptop with improved trackpad, Snapdragon X2, and more by Taras Buria Microsoft's new Surface Laptop Ultra generated a lot of buzz earlier this month, but in addition to its most powerful laptop with an NVIDIA chip, Microsoft also has a more affordable laptop lineup, which has been waiting for an update for quite a while. Today, Microsoft announced the eighth-generation Surface Laptop. The new Surface Laptop is powered by the Snapdragon X2 Plus and X2 Elite processors. These chips offer faster CPU performance, up to 58% faster graphics, and 80 TOPS Neural Processing Units (NPUs) for on-device AI processing. Like the previous models, these chips retain their great energy efficiency, and Microsoft says that buyers can expect up to 20 hours of work on a single charge. The laptop is available in two sizes: 13.8-inch and 15-inch. You will have a hard time finding visual differences between the new and previous models, as Microsoft is not taking any major design leaps, except for the new Jade color, which may look familiar to Surface Laptop 5 owners. Other colors include Platinum, Black, and Dune. The 15-inch variant got a higher-resolution display. It is a 3,270 x 2,180 resolution screen with a pixel density of 262 ppi (the 13-inch model has a 201 ppi density) and a maximum brightness of 600 nits SDR and HDR. Unlike the Surface Pro 12th-gen, which is available with optional OLED displays, the Surface Laptop sticks with IPS, a 1,300:1 contrast ratio, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 3:2 aspect ratio. Another notable change in the Surface Laptop 8 is its trackpad. It now provides haptic feedback when you perform various actions in apps and the operating system. It is a relatively new feature that Microsoft brought to Windows 11 in recent updates, and it is only available on certain devices, such as the Logitech MX Master 4, Surface Slim Pen 2, the upcoming Surface Laptop Ultra, and now the Surface Laptop 8. The new Surface Laptop with the new Surface Pro Like its tablet-shaped sibling, the new Surface Laptop is notably more expensive. It starts at a $1,599 for a 13.8-inch configuration with a 256GB SSD and 16GB of RAM. However, in the US, the base model has double the storage while keeping the same price. Available configurations include up to 64GB of memory and up to 2TB SSD (user-removable PCIe Gen4). The Surface Laptop 8 is now available for purchase on the official Microsoft website.
    • Microsoft announces 12th-gen Surface Pro with Snapdragon X2 processors by Taras Buria So far, 2026 has been rich in Surface announcements. Microsoft started with a fresh lineup of Surface for Business devices powered by Intel's new Core Ultra 300 processors. Then the company revealed the Surface Laptop Ultra, its most powerful laptop with NVIDIA's RTX Spark processor. Now, it is time for new Surface Pro and Surface Laptop models with Qualcomm processors. Microsoft's original Copilot+ PCs with Snapdragon X1 chips debuted in late May 2024. Two years later, Microsoft is finally updating the lineup with new models featuring Snapdragon X2 processors. The 12th-gen Surface Pro continues the well-established formula of Microsoft's flagship tablet, and Microsoft is not even changing colors, as the tablet will be available in three colors: Dune, Black, and Platinum. The most important changes are mostly hidden inside. Microsoft switched from the Snapdragon X1 to the new Snapdragon X2, which promises up to 53% faster graphics performance than the previous generation and up to 15.5 hours of battery life. The built-in NPU is also much more powerful, and it can run at up to 80 TOPS for on-device AI processing. Like before, the new Surface Pro is available with a 13-inch IPS display, and Microsoft is still offering OLED as a separate, more expensive configuration. Speaking of configurations, the Surface Pro will be available with a 10-core Snapdragon X2 Plus or a 12-core Snapdragon X2 Elite. Microsoft expanded the available RAM configurations to 64GB (previously 32GB was the maximum), while storage remains unchanged at 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB of user-replaceable PCIe Gen4 SSDs. The new Surface Pro and the Surface Laptop Other specs remain mostly unchanged. The computer has the same 1440p Windows Hello webcam, two USB4 ports for charging, data, and display output, Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 support, dual speakers, and compatibility with Surface Pro Signature and Flex keyboards. With that said, there is one very important aspect of the Surface Pro that changed significantly, and it is the price. While the previous-gen Surface Pro launched at $999 for the base configuration, in 2026, the entry-level Surface Pro with Snapdragon X2, 16GB of memory, and 256GB will set you back an eye-watering $1,499. To sweeten the pill, Microsoft is running a limited-time promotion where Surface Pro buyers can get a free Surface Pro 13-inch Keyboard. The promo runs from June 16 through June 30. The new Surface Pro is available now on the official Microsoft Store website.
