Lost - Season Three

I think they can die, but maybe they've found a way not to age. I have to wonder if that's why they wanted Ben to wait before he crossed over to them?

Here's an interesting theory. Maybe the gas or whatever it is has something to do with the reason the women cannot give birth?

Yeah its waaaaaaay to long :(

Yeah I think they can die everything can die but its just a case of they probably won't die of old age or illness because of the Islands properties...

I think they most likely don't die of natural causes due to a healing element, but trauma can kill them.

Yeah, the question is ultimately how much trauma kills them. Clearly there's a line, look at Naomi and Mikhail. So the question comes down to can Locke survive a gunshot to the chest? He clearly has a connection to the island that others don't (such as Shannon and Anna-Lucia), but can the island heal him fast enough?

Yeah I didnt Ben say something about Jacob helping Locke...

Is this why Richard (or any other hostiles) don't age because of this. There were mentioning Joop in a recent podcast...maybe a hint?...

Great point. I suspect that you're probably correct.

Hmmm isnt the Hanso Foundation and Dharma one the same...thats an experiment they were doing off the Island I thought...its weird because the Lost Experience opened us up to stuff like this and never thought they'd go back to it...

Plus Richard didnt like Dharma because he was a Hostile...

ok big spoiler I say big....3 of the people who are going to die have been revealed by an inside ABC source on DarkUFO's site...they are...

Tom - Bang there goes my Tom Flashback

Charlie - Meh couldnt care...

Ryan (Other) - Yes.....

3/5 Deaths Confirmed!

Underneath are the people who will be die by the end of the season. Don't look below if you don't want to know.

Charlie, Tom/Mr Friendly/Zeke and Ryan

EDIT - Rappy beat me to it!

OH NO!!!! NOT TOM

Yeah...now thats a surprise. Least 2 others are dieing and only 1 815, hope we find out about Tom through someone else's flashback

The other 2 are females and we will be finding out shorty. My guesses are Kate and Claire

9 months...holy crap! That's going to make it really hard to connect to. It's weird when it takes 4 years for a show to go 60 days

Actually it is more like 3 years to go 92 days.

Anyone notice that the ratings for Lost has soared :D http://www.buddytv.com/articles/lost/lost-...harma-6365.aspx (Absolutely fantastic news!)

I don't see it being Claire personally. Kate I wouldn't care about, she's gotten on my nerves with this Sawyer/Jack love triangle thing that I would kill her myself if I could. I think it could be Sun. She's pregnant, the Others want her, she gets shot or something like that in the battle.

OH NO!!!! NOT TOM

 He's one of the few

Others

that I actually give a damn about.

I feel the same way mate...its tragic

I hated Tom at first but now he is cool...why couldn't it be Mikail tho Patchy rocks...as for girls Kate can go shes a prude...Claire can stay shes hot and her accent is hot...Sun yeah she can go...Rose i'll do it myself if she survives

Kate could be pregnant too.

Lol, I was expecting her to pretend to be surprised when she heard the tape recording: "Me? Got laid? No way!" but she pretended like she didn't hear it...

Too bad about

Tom

though - he's one of my favorite we-know-nothing-about-them characters :(

Who is

Ryan

again?

Locke makes it because a bullet to the gut is nothing. IT takes a (normal) man 2 hours+ to die from a bullet to the gut/stomach if it's not gushing, so that's plenty of time.

btw,

Claire's

plot-line is complete, so it's probably her.

Kate

has a couple more unanswered questions to go.

Life Extension project is straight out of the X-Files, Season 7.

Oh, yeah, forgot to mention: I'm SO GLAD that Juliet cleared her status with Jack :D

Official ABC Podcast

* Jacob will be a story for Season 4

* Jacob is not an alien

* Ben tested Locke to see if he can see/hear Jacob. When Ben realised Locke could hear Jacob, he saw this as a threat to his leadership

* How Dr. Candle lost his arm will be seen in Season 4 - I forgot that was meant to be explained in episode 20

* They hinted that we will see what happened to Annie at some point

Greatest Hits - Sneak Peak 1

brain-wave:

The ring of gunpowder, it's from the dynamite.

Russeau (sp?) knows about the source of the island's power (how can she not?) and she rigged the whole place with the contents of the dynamite. Ben, too anxious about John, didn't notice.

Salt wouldn't intrigue John, gunpowder would. If Russeau wants to blow up the shack, "Help Me" makes sense.

Ben looks genuinely afraid of Jacob, not his prison-guard but his servant. I doubt he's holding him hostage.

Was just thinking,

I think smokey is Jacob, Jacob doesnt exist in human form anymore and is most likely an entity "bonded" with the island in some way, in the last episode it proved he had some powers probably telekenesis and Psychic abilities. We know the island has (electro)magnetic properties, maybe with Jacobs telekenesis and the (electro)magnetic properties of the island he is able control particles (possibly the ring of rock or something similar that was near his hut), and is able to read peoples minds hence able to form into people from the island inhabitants past, possibly in a combination of being able to manipulate particles into shapes then projecting an image onto the shape so its not actually the people from their past.

Just a thought :)

    • Yeah, this is absolutely nothing new and EA have done it before. Burnout Paradise, released in 2008, had dynamic advertising billboards that were updated via the internet and targeted people based on location and what EA knew about them from their profile. It was particularly notable for the fact that the Obama presidential campaign ran ads in the game, in an attempt to reach a younger audience who didn't watch broadcast TV any more. It was by no means the first though. Battlefield 2142 from 2006 had the same thing. In fact, Neowin wrote a story about it back then. https://www.neowin.net/news/ba...-in-game-ads-clarification/
    • This is obviously aimed at the education where Apple has lost so much ground to Chromebooks in the last few years, but unless they come up with a comparable management system for education why would anyone switch back?
    • Here's how we arrived at that claim: Note that this is just Play Store downloads. The app is also available on the Galaxy App Store
    • Google Play states the app had more than 50 million downloads. What other metric do you suggest should be used?
    • MSN defined our generation in some ways, kind of like Snapchat and TikTok have done for future generations. I have great memories of the MSN era in the late 90s / early 2000s. In the UK everyone seemed to come home from School and go on MSN for the evening. We didn't really have mobile phones then, so other than going and knocking on your friends door it was a totally new way of interacting with people. I also loved how I could talk to people I’d met playing online games from around the world. Inviting people to NetMeeting and messing about with the shared white board and webcams was pretty fun, even if webcams only ran at a couple of fps over dial-up. All the random things you could do with MsgPlus! were really fun - I suspect that made a few people jump with /shello randomly blasting Mr Hankey out their speakers! Maybe I’m just nostalgic, however I do feel the internet and computers were more fun back then.
