Lost - Season Three

Can someone answer me as why Locke's father was not surprised to see him and was puzzled as to why Locke has not figured out where he is yet?

Anthony Cooper thought Locke was dead (like the rest of the world did) when he had his car crash. Cooper thought he had died and gone to hell, that's why he kept referring to that place as hell.

If its confirmed Lockes dead at any point soon then I won't be watching next season.

If Kate survives and Locke dies, the show SUCKS.

Oh come on. We all knew that there was a chance our favorite characters might die before the show ends, this might not even be the writers' choice. Maybe Terry wanted to leave the show, who knows? I wouldn't stop watching it though because a particular character died.

I really don't think Locke will die ok he will be "dead" technically but as we know nothing dies on the Island...

It was weird how Jacob technically wasn't real...I actually laughed when there was just a chair in the room...because all week I had said I bet Jacob isn't real hence why he wasn't credited in the guest list...but then bam there he was for a split second...hmmm....its weird he has clothes on like a native...

Who was the actor played Jacob during that split second?

Not credited at all?

Nope.

Full Press release here

A fake press release said that Jacob was played by Ron Perlman. Which is here

No thats whats strange...will we see him again...I really hope so...

Jacob looks a bit like that hippy from that 70's show...:laugh:

I think he looks like Locke, with hair.

I was thinking that it looked like Locke's forehead/chin...But it looks like Jacob's top lip is connected to the point on his nose. :laugh:

Locke is probaly my favorite character. I hope he doesn't die (But everyone is right, I don't see him recovering from this). Unless something miraculous occurs, He's a goner.

you're contradicting yourself a few times =P

:blink: How did I contradict myself?

I hope that Locke survives, but I agree with Rappy that he probably won't. He, being Terry, told Kristin that he (Terry) has sold his Hawaiian house, so that suggests that opposite of what I want to happen, which is him surviving.

I don't see how I contradicted myself.

I think if he doesnt return this season then he is dead...but will return in flashbacks leaving the possibility that he is dead or just roaming the island as a free spirit...if locke does survive tho he knows where Jacob lives...

Best Capture I have seen so far...

I tried to brighten it up but its poor...

Hmmm i misread the post you were replying to

sorry =P

The "processed" image of Jacob is a fake. The kind of detail shown is impossible, outside of CSI, to pull out of the black. Also, notice how the eye, eyebrow and lips are not affected at all by the blocky artifacts that affect the rest of the image.

His hair was somewhat lit, but there's no extra detail in that area. His face was in complete darkness, yet somehow his entire face becomes visible? No. In fact, I would guess that the face used to overlay it is Locke's.

It looks like Bens eye.

@Peewee210: I beat you with only 1 minute :p

But if you look at the video, it's clear in the first frame that he has hair coming down the left side of his face. The eye is Jacob's. Also, if you look at the complete video, Ben looks to his right, at Locke, and then we see the closeup of an eye turning to the left. Then Locke freaks and gets out of the cabin. This fits best with Jacob turning to look at Locke after throwing Ben against the wall.

the uploaded image is fake. not possible.

jacob isn't locke, that's kind of breaking from the story line. locke does survive the bullet, but he wil die "again" before the end of the season.

imo.

those of us that didn't watch it on full-quality hdtv missed out on some of these details.... :*(

    • Sorry to be that guy but, Given Trump won again even after a failed first term it would appear attacking the other side is how to gain Government in America. Voters when it came down to it didn't give a s**t about those Democratic achievements and voted for Trump over an intelligent, qualified mixed race woman. We need to face up to this uncomfortable reality. There are more Americacan voters who support racism and christian bigotry along with defending and supporting pedophilia, adjudicated rapists, multiple time convicted felons etc than those who don't. Btw, that is how the world sees America now. Not that Trump voters care as they attempt to cocoon themselves in a white supremacy bubble.
    • That's not clickbait. Clickbait is headlines like, "You'll never guess what this person looks like now" for example. For goodness sake, take a look around the internet if you think this is clickbait. How do sites survive if people don't click through to articles? How many people in all honesty would have clicked this if it had your suggested headline? You and those upvoting your post won't be happy until the web is a couple of hundred websites all behind a paywall.
