Lost - Season Three

Recommended Posts

All I want to know is: when are the reruns going to start up again? Hopefully soon now that The Next Best Thing just ended and I believe American Inventor will be ending soon. It's time they bring back Lost! I just got 1080i HD recently. I was looking forward to re-watching shows like Lost and Heroes in HD, and what do the networks do? They take them away for mildly entertaining reality shows! Bring back Lost!

I believe the Comic-Con Panel has Endeded?

News?

Contains some spoilers...

-Lindelof & Cuse Q&A:

After numerous jokes and a few poor questions from the audience, here is the note-worthy stuff:

*Confirmed Michael?s return (duh!) but would not elaborate any further on how or when that would be in Season 4

*We will be seeing more flash-forwards and flashbacks

*Jack and Claire will realize they are siblings in Season 4

*Ben was accidentally captured by Rousseau and we will find out why/how soon

*What we saw with Jack and Kate was not the end of the show, says Lindelof ?The show has never really been about getting off the Island. There is this whole chapter of the story that takes place off the Island?

*Harold Perrineau shows up and discusses his character, acknowledges that he will again be a ?regular? on the show, confirms that we will be seeing him earlier in Season 4

*We could potentially get another TLE during the hiatus between Season 4 & Season 5

*It is confirmed that the Richard Alpert character may not appear at all next season, or if so, probably in a limited fashion. Makes sense given the actor has committed to another show at this point

*We will get Libby?s story this year, it will not be disappointing, and it was hinted at that she may have worked for DHARMA

*Panel was concluded with a DHARMA video that I will post here as soon as possible

Enjoy!

Plus there was a video game trailer with this description....

?The sense of adventure and suspense that we strive for in the show is also captured in the Lost video game,? said Lindelof and Cuse. ?Ubisoft has done a fantastic job and come up with a game that is visually amazing and imaginative both on its own and as an extension of the world of the show.?

Players will assume the role of a passenger on the ill-fated Oceanic flight 815 who survives the crash and is stranded on the uncharted island in the Pacific Ocean. As the player begins to unravel mysteries of the island, new secrets about your character are revealed. Players will have to understand their character?s past mistakes in order to survive and find their way home.

The game will incorporate familiar locations and will feature main characters from the show. Gameplay will involve solving puzzles, outsmarting enemies, battling the smoke monster, and overcoming many other challenges to survive the island and ultimately come out alive.

These type of games are ususally really bad.

The Lost game I think is gonna be pretty poor I agree...looking at it the graphics are good but I would imagine the story would be a bit thin I mean if you can leave the Island then thats pointless...lol

No idea Rappy. Might be a joke from the creators.

Anything "Lost" is good. :D

Its weird they show the Dharma Plaza and Jacob Loves You thing from Room 23...

From LostPedia...

The Orchid's orientation film was introduced by Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse as an opportunity to "learn more about the DHARMA Initiative". Cuse further described the film as "something that will fire your imaginations about what you're gonna see in Season 4".

Before the video played, Lindelof and Cuse recounted a story in which the film was sent to them after being found in a building in Narvik, Norway that was set to be demolished (possibly the Hanso Foundation headquarters). The film was then purportedly spliced together and restored by the writers.

Several points in the video met with laughter from the audience, leading to speculation that the video was intended as a parody rather than as a part of Lost canon. However, no official sources have indicated that this video was intended as self-parody, or that it is not to be interpreted as canon.

Season 4 is going to be F***ing insane.

I would give the Video Game MORE Optimism, why so much Negative on this game?

Nobody seem to have too much faith with this game!

Well tv shows or films to games are usually poor and in this case you will be going round the island in the locations we have seen on telly.

What? How are we going to know how he doesn't age?

Oh and for the Australian views, huzzah!, we'll be getting Lost (as well as Heroes, Prisonbreak and 24) fast tracked live from the US starting from next season.

    • I really wonder if this has to do with the built in VPN or "private DNS" of browsers that trip up legal requirements like cookie consent and Cloudflare (to avoid all the botnet attacks we get). And BTW some botnets still manage to get past Cloudflare, we are constantly having to tweak it to block malicious traffic that ultimately cause a DDoS.
    • CPPC states can also be messed around with in most UEFI settings but aren't as robust as the ones that the Windows Scheduler can provide! Make sure you look into what your motherboard also has before customizing for the Windows Scheduler.
