Yeah, "wife beaters" are cool but I've never worn one, and I never knew they were called that

i used to wear those small/thin hanes white tees as an undershirt, but they neck messes up to easily and just doesn't feel right any more.

so now i've been wearing wife beaters for months now and it's the best thing in the world.. it also makes you feel more buff :laugh:

but i always wear white tees or colored tees on top.. PRO CLUB! are the best.

knew em as tank tops while growing up. wasnt until recently, i'd say 4-5 years, that the hiphop scene popularized the term wife beater IMO.

i wear them as an undershirt to button ups, but more often than not, thin white t's as an undershirt.

I remember when I first found out what "wifebeater" meant, this chick at work said "Hey karl look, Anthony's wearing a wifebeater.."

I had the most confused look on my face... Then she told me what she meant :p

"Wife beater" is such a stupid name, I'ld feel like someone that beats up women if I wore one. Locally (In Australia) they are known as Singlets or Tank Tops
