Good idea, I hate having to search through 'All programs' and remember the folder names of the apps, this would solve the problem!

A combination of this and digitalsofts UI would be so awesome (Y) One thing I little problem with having a circular menu in the middle is that you would have to minimise any maximised apps you had running to use the menu (rather than a taskbar which you can use while using maximised browser windows etc...)

Yes, I know neither of the ribbons pictured are actually open and/or fully visible, still working on that :p

I really like this idea. I know its old but I just now discovered it. I will try my hand at it as well. Now I haven't read through all 35 pages but I got to about 15-16 so if I make something that is a bit copied from someone else I am sorry.

Update: I made some changes to the text color of items on the taskbar to improve readability and finished mocking up the clock-ribbon.

So Windows Rome is Windows 7? or is that another beast all together?
