Thanks for all the links.

Under both XP and Vista, Word 2007 came with an error about the file Building Blocks.dotx and offered to repair the file. On subsequent launches everything seems to be fine.

At least now Word 2007 CAN PRINT PROPERLY. No more stupid nonsense scaling the page to 500% and blasting it off the margins.

The UI changes are subtle, but pleasing - for instance, the new shading patterns on the options dialog, new and updated menus, etc.

^ If you have reported the bug about the building blocks or whatever, post the link to the connect bug report. I don't remember the message or the details, but I can confirm that I did get an error and an offering to repair the file. I'd like to vote on it :)

after loggin' into Beta.Microsoft, then clicking "Office 2007" then the "Products" it sends to the page where you have to PAY for it? WHy should I as an official tester, have to pay for the download when they promised to let me download it for free?

      On the one hand, it shouldn't be difficult. You buy a computer, you decide what OS you want, which browser etc. Simple enough. But that's the techie side of things. My sister, my mother, wouldn't bother with such a thought. And I'm pretty sure that if you presented a window asking them what to pick they would say, "I don't care! I just want to access my Email!"

      Everyone behaves like Internet Explorer just never happened and Edge is whole new thing all while Microsoft is pulling the exact same ###### it did back then. Sigh.
