We tried lighttpd a few years ago. I know it has come a long way since then but I'm not convinced it's as stable as Apache.

that could be a little bit of prejudice :) I'm not saying "Switch to lighttpd asap!" just testdrive it again.

All the best for Neowin!

Our bottlenecks aren't with the webserver, it's with the database backend. So, lighty wouldn't help us as much as a faster database would.

lighttpd + php + xcache => That's it :) We use the normal MySQL database.(myisam)

Why is the icon there? When (most) browsers notify you of a rss presence.

Also, if it is there, why does it only list one feed?

When (most) browsers notify you of a rss presence.

;)

There is only one RSS feed listed because it's an integrated RSS option in the boards whereas our main RSS feeds are not.

From a users POV, that doesn't mean anything.

However the other changes rock! (Y)
