no-sweat Share Posted October 30, 2006 I picked Vikings only because I reversed all my picks this week ... because I did so bad last week. But... it's not helping. arg.
Ayepecks Share Posted October 30, 2006 There's a reason why a lot of Dallas fans wanted Romo at the beginning of the season. What I am tired of is Denvers overrated defense. Play someone! They sure did today. BOOG, not to bring you down or anything, but you were the one who told me Romo was never good and would never be #1: http://www.neowin.net/forum/index.php?show...98889&st=15 A while ago, yes, but he was the same player then. L3thal Veteran Share Posted October 31, 2006 If it takes 2 years of digging to prove me wrong, you win the award. /me looks for any other post in this thread about picks from you.....oh that's right..there are none. 'course, Romo 2 years ago isn't the same Romo now. See: Carson Palmer, Philip Rivers. I was wrong. :) That's gotta make you feel good. :p

'course, Romo 2 years ago isn't the same Romo now. See: Carson Palmer, Philip Rivers. I was wrong. :) That's gotta make you feel good. That's not what I'm saying, but way to twist my words. I just remembered you didn't like him, even though he had the exact same skills and mechanics then -- I even said he had a quick release and strong arm back then. He's the same guy, same mechanics, same skill, same everything. Read the thread from back then and it's not hard to see. I wasn't trying to smear your face in it, just saying that you weren't one of those fans that was for him.
L3thal Veteran Share Posted October 31, 2006 His style of play reminds me of Favre. His throwing, his arm speed, etc.
Ayepecks Share Posted October 31, 2006 BOOG, you're a little paranoid buddy. I honestly didn't know who it was that told me Romo wasn't as good as Henson. I remembered someone said it, but wasn't sure who, and wanted to see what they thought of it now and if they changed their stance. Obviously you did. Never rubbed your face in it, but sorry if you feel that way. And that would be two threads, but good try. And I wasn't trying to get your attention. I was trying to find out who it was, but I didn't know the football conversation had moved to the fantasy section.

Yeah it is the number of points you have been off the Monday night game...it is for tiebreakers when two people have the same record.....It helps to have as low a + score as possible...Like in the overall standings Boog is tied with yisman, but yisman is ahead since he has 107 and boog has 108 ;) Hope that helps

Ayepecks Share Posted October 31, 2006 I was being sarcastic...saying 'apparently three threads is trying' since you stated you weren't trying, and yet, there was another thread baiting the person (with a wink). Try to keep up. :) I wasn't "baiting" the person (unlike what you are trying to do with your "Try to keep up" statement). I wanted to see their reaction to Romo's playing. How is that being rude about it?
