So a couple of hours ago I tried to get into Neowin, but I couldn't connect to the server. All other websites were working fine.

I log-on now, check out the desktops thread, and I find that it's thirteen pages. I could've sworn there were fifteen when I left Neowin earlier in the day.

I've asked a few friends to check out the thread as well - they all report seeing only thirteen pages.

I'm confused.

Longer/more active threads are currently experiencing a problem where the most recent posts can only be seen if you hack the URL (for example in order to see some of the newest entries in "Post if you love Neowin", I had to view page 5 of 3. That isn't how it is supposed to work.

The coders are working on fixing this and then you will see the correct number of pages and again be able to navigate to the most recent posts in that thread.

Short/slow moving threads will be unaffected.

I am having this problem as well. And Neowin seems to be rather slow for me since yesterday

There is ongoing server tweaking that will continue for the next few weeks.

Clearly some tweaks, like the change made to the system that counts the number of pages, will backfire but we'll get those bugs hammered down soon enough.

I cant see the latest posts in the Lost thread on the media section...so I'm guessing I'm having the lost posts problems as well :(
