That's a sick two-face!

And yes it really looks epic. Plus it has one of the best lineup of cast ever - bale, caine, ledger, freeman, cillian murphy, oldman, eckhart, maggie gyllenhaal. You cant beat a cast like that.

edit: I checked out /film and the source of the pic now says "NOTE: This image has been removed at the request of Warner Bros. Films." Could very well be real then.

Or very well could be not and warner dont want false hopes. Why, of all the media released, suddenly they would forbid this specifically picture? Its not like its the first photo of Dent with the face burned.

The other photos were officially released by them, but maybe this was a leak and they didnt want the public to know about it yet. I still think it's a genuine concept art that the final look of Two-face will be based on, but maybe you're right, it's just a fake.

This is definitely my most anticipated movie this year. Can't wait. All of the posters and images that have been posted are great. The newest trailer (the one that's like 2mins or something like that) is really good too. It's going to be a long wait til July. Also, I'm really hoping that picture of 2 Face really is just a concept and not the final look. It looks, really f'd up lol. I remember all the hype surround how The Joker would look, and in a way, I kind of wish I didn't know, and I feel the same about 2 Face. I'd rather see him for the first time in the movie not in pictures.

I dunno, looks like Iron man is going to give it a run for it's money (seen it on saturday, it was awesome). Still, nothing wrong with a couple of big summer films competing with each other, especially since it's the age-old Marvel Vs. DC fight (And lets face it, Tony Stark and Bruce Wayne have more than a few things in common).

It's a good thing it's coming out in July, as you can see it need much editing. :D :p Really can't wait for it to come out in BR :drool: . I can't see clearly in theater, I would prefer watching it in HD and in 7.1 surround sound as this movie should be.

Two-Face = amazing. I never had any doubts but after seeing what its going to look like I'm dying to see him talk. What Nolan has done for the batman series is just incredible, as soon as my iron man high wears off ill be back into batman mode :) I still refuse to see any movies with Bale in it until after Dark Knight, as the last one I saw with him was Batman Begins. I have strict rules :p

Yeah I had doubts when Begins came out so much so I refused to see it because I thought it was gonna be crap but my was I blown away and I think this is gonna be good. If or When theres a third it will be 2 face and who do you think? I would love to see Riddler.

Riddler would be cool. I'd like seeing him take villains from previous movies and showing how he would do them. Personally though I got a soft spot for my fat friend the penguin. I'd also be interested to see his take on catwoman not so much as a main character but just another character in the gotham.

I have this ugly feeling that Nolan didn't kill off the Joker in TDK & was somehow written in the third. I guess now we'll never know now. Or maybe we will after seeing TDK. But Nolan probably edited it out so he does get kill off in one movie. Shame that Heath had to die.

Or maybe he will kill the joker in the beggining of the third movie, leaving this one as planned.

That seems like a cheap way to kill of the character. I just don't see how they could pull it off without Heath.

The same way they could pull your initial idea off: With an extra and some cgi. Something like Alex Proyas did with The Crow.

The technology to make it totally believeable its has been available for over a decade.

Heath Joker character looks more important than Lee's Crow character. There's gonna be more facial shot of the Joker. Voice, movement, etc.

But I agree with you. With the technology today, they could pull it off. You'll never know.

Considering it IS the joker, they could just disfigure him enough so that he looks different.

I dont think that would work. The joker is a real big role, and for Nolan not to kill him off in this would only heighten the anticipation for the Joker's outing in the third. Even if it doesnt heighten it, surely some kind of anticipation will still be there. And since heath is already dead, I dont see the logic in leaving him alive here just to kill him off early/off screen in the next movie. A new actor almost certainly wont work. Disfiguring him further and using another actor sounds cheap.

I can only see this working if the Joker were to be relegated to a bit role by the end of The Dark Knight.

Nolan has said that he see's the Joker as a one-shot deal. One movie is about as much as you can do with him. Sure he's an icon - but once the initial "joker" aspect wears off, he's just another baddie.

He said he found some of the other characters (can't recall who but possibly Bane) more interesting.
