This was a year ago.

With the news just pouring in today (please note intended sarcasm) I am bringing you the glorious news that The Dark Knight (AKA Batman 2) leaves room for a Batman 3. Shocker? Yeah, I wasn't surprised either.

Christian Bale sat down with Jersey's The Star Ledger and said during his interview, "The script (for The Dark Knight) leaves room for a very interesting follow-up, too. I think we could take it somewhere else."

Since no bad guys were named I'll start the rumor mill that Bill Paxton will star as The Penguin and Ryan 'Rican' McLelland as Penguin Stooge #6.

Shame isn't it? :(

Thats crazy! but then again simpsons movie was there for the first week then it dropped.

on #1?

I know the ranking means nothing more that the public this film was intended for really liked it, and that is a huge success.

I hate going to the teather in this town because its always full of loud teenagers. TDK opening was FULL and I thought the chatter would be unbearable but to my surprise the whole theater was in total silence, sign that the movie really worked.

Question: what was everyone's reaction to the "magic trick" scene? The entire theater I went to was cracking up... that had to be one of the funniest moments ever in a serious action movie (IMO, of course).
That was so awesome and pretty funny. That and the scene where the Joker visits Harvey and as he leaves the hospital. The way he's just walking and that..just wow. Amazing movie.

anyone have a picture of or a clip of:

when the joker tried to shoot the mayor. It was so quick, but thats the only time you saw him without the make up/paint. I didn't get a good look

Well I found this picture, which I don't remember this angle. I thought it was more a straight on angle...not from the side

also...quick question:

In the scene where Harvey Dent takes the guy away and then interrogates him. Was that just a kid or was that the Scare Crow?

one more

I thought it would of been pretty funny in a Joker way if one of the ferries would have decided to blow the other up. But when they hit the detonator it turns out it blows up their own ship. Seems like doing the opposite is the Jokers way of doing things (like sending batman to Harvey Dent instead of Rachel). I thought that would have been a nice touch.

great movie...planning to see it in Imax the next time! Saw it normal this time

I still don't get how Christian Bale can change his voice like that when he is in the batsuit. LIke I could understand when hes shouting how he can get that deep. But when he uses a normal tone, it just seems impossible.

haha yeah, that was funny. Stops...Turns....looks.....runs hahaha.

I'm so getting this movie when it comes out on DVD!

When did harvey interrogated him? Was that when he takes the ambulance? I do remember the scarecrow in the beginning but i forget what scene later on. Maybe it was when I went to the restroom. Was it the guy who had mental issues and when harvey was two face?

He wasn't Two-Face yet. It was right after the assassination attempt on the mayor, and Dent kidnapps the police officer with an ambulance, takes him somewhere secluded, ties him to a chair, and flips a coin to decide if he should kill him. First coin was heads, and Dent says "Let's try this again" and flips it again. Only this time Batman comes in and says the police officer is a mental guy from Arkham.

I don't think he's scarecrow, but he looks a bit similar. I can't even figure out now how Batman managed to find Dent.

I a bit fuzzy on the details, so I might have gotten it wrong. There was just so much stuff happening in this movie!

Excellent movie except for one thing: Maggie Gyllenhal. I don't understand how anyone can cast her as the sexy female lead in anything, she's a dog.

She wasn't put in the movie to play as the sexy lead female. She put to act as a realistic lawyer trying to fight for Gothem city. Katie Homes did a **** poor job on that part...

Yep i remember that scene.

Just trying to figure out when he interrogated scarecrow.

He didn't interrogate Scarecrow. That wasn't Cillian Murphy. The guy just kind of looked like him a little bit. When Batman grabbed the coin (keep in mind, it was a double headed coin, so either way, he wasn't gonna kill the guy), he said the guy's name, and it wasn't Scarecrow's name.

are you sure, since murphy was credited in the movie?

When he becomes Two Face, he still has the double headed coin, one side is just dirty, so really that isn't wholey revelant that is two headed coin, just that before he was Two Face he uses it more as a threat to the person to get them to talk or do what he he says than as a decider
