When he becomes Two Face, he still has the double headed coin, one side is just dirty, so really that isn't wholey revelant that is two headed coin, just that before he was Two Face he uses it more as a threat to the person to get them to talk or do what he he says than as a decider

It was relevant at the time. Both sides were the same, but when he became Two-Face, one side was burned/scarred as well. That was the "evil" side of the coin from that point forward. But during his "interrogation" both sides were the same, so he was never going to actually kill the guy.

Gona go see this in IMAX some time this week. It has already broken 3 records!

Three records? I know it broke the midnight showing record and the single day record, but what was the 3rd?

Well im clearly in the minority here, if not in it alone, but I really enjoyed Batman begins, this one; I was glad when it was over. I think they and ledger did a great job of the joker being a serious villian to go along with the mature/dark theme of this new batman series but plot wise the battle between batman and the joker just seemed to be largely non-eventful. Whilst I guess they had no choice the way it ended with the Joker was unsatisfying for me. I also didnt care too much for Holmes in b.begins but compared to Gyllenhal I wish they would bring her back.

hrmm I havent really provided much of an explanation as to why I disliked this one, maybe the heroic themes of the first just sat with me better, im not sure but disappointed and then glad to be out of the cinema were my emotions.

Can someone give me a link to high-resoltuon preferably (1680x1050) site or something for

1. Wallpapers

2. Movie Posters

Of The Dark Knight!

Thanks

Crazysah

The official site will have the wallpapers around that size.
Is there any other site that has good wallpapers and movie posters around that size?

Can someone please answer the questions?

Also... 9.5/10 rating on IMDB! It is still #1! Awesome.

Yes... 3 records with potentially more coming for Saturday!

Excellent movie except for one thing: Maggie Gyllenhal. I don't understand how anyone can cast her as the sexy female lead in anything, she's a dog.

Man you guys are way too harsh. The girl definitely wasn't ugly at all. But you're right if you thought her acting was bad in this one.

Oh dear... OMG OMG OMG this movie totally lived up to the hype..

I hope the DVD / bluray versions have another 60 extra min ala LOTR of "directors uncut edition" of some sort.

While the joker was awesome, the whole cast performed amazing. I do agree though... I Would've prefered Katie Holmes.

Although I do believe the end was incomplete, they probably had something aligned with the joker and batman ( after joker was left hanging at the end), but probably couldn't make it after ledgers death. Also makes me wonder how the hell they're gonna pull batman 3 off.

Anyone else think the ending was edited so the joker wouldn't be killed in the movie as well, as it would be to cruel?

Just saw it.... Good movie, but not the 9.7/10 that it has on IMDB. I'd go for 7/10.

1) It's way too long, the movie sometime drags.

2) Did Tom Cruise locked Katie so she could not perform as Rachel Dawes? Nothing against Maggie Gyllenhaal, but she's no Katie...

3) We see much more of Bruce Wayne than Batman in this movie.

4) The good Harvey Dent that "transform" into a killer Two-Face... That's pulling it.

5) What's the point of having Cillian Murphy (Scarecrow) in this movie for 30 secs in the beginning? It's a cameo but could have been more.

And this movie is all about Heath Ledger. The Joker is really mad/crazy but with substance. I don't know how it would have turnout if this role was played by someone else.

It's a good movie, but IMO not as good as the first one.

I liked having Scarecrow in the movie at the start. Just seeing what hes up to is cool to know :)

Its also nice for comparison reasons to see how much of a small time thug (without Ghul's help) he is compared to what the Joker can pull off.

also, im trying to figure out who that person Harvey Dent interrogated was (the one that looks like a skinnier/younger Cillian Murphy)

im going through the IMDB full cast here :

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0468569/fullcredits#cast

Any guesses on who that guy was? I am just looking to confirm it wasnt Scarecrow. He should of been in jail right?

The movie was epic, that's all I have to say about it. But there was one scene that had my jaw dropping...

The scene where Batmat deployed the grappling hooks to the front bumper of the 18-wheeler, circled the font tires, swerved around three lightposts and sent the truck flipping. o.m.f.g.

I don't think they wanted to kill Joker regardless of Heath's situation. He was an amazing character and they probably ended it that way so they could use him again. As much as I would have liked Dent to stick around I loved the ending, really great story telling. Definitely one of my favorites, and the entire Joker scene was amazing, that scene alone is worth re-watching. As far as the IMAX experience goes, the scenes shot with the cameras were exceptional, but size they are shot with a wider lens you get black bars on the other shots, a little annoying when it happens throughout the movie, but the city scenes in IMAX were spectacular.

As for the sequel it will happen Nolan said in an interview awhile back he envisioned it as a trilogy. Besides they are going to make a lot of money off this so that should be a big enough reason to pursue. I'd also like to see the mansion get built because I miss my Batcave.

agreed, they should've at least should the progress being made on the reconstruction of wayne mansion. :p

too things that are bugging me about the intro bank robbery:

how did the guys who picked up the Joker (as well as the rest of the city) not recognize him standing on the corner. He didn't put on the mask til he got right in front of the car door.

what was the Joker doing that whole time during the robbery when the other guys were getting organized? its hard to tell...was he just tying people up and putting grenades in their hands? he was the only one of the 3 front door clowns that came in with a bag...i'm guessing it was just that stuff

good thing Mahone missed him with that shotgun shot....or else tthe rest of the movie would have been pretty lame :)

I also liked how the Joker told the other clown that he was out of shells so he wouldnt have to risk his life.

    • prices are insane its like 140 dollars more expensive, sigh
    • This seems backwards. You should have to explicitly authorize files for outside use. It shouldn't be the default.
    • Wow you are right, I never even noticed this until you said it! (870E Aorus Master) Before testing this card I had a TP-Link tx401 10GbE PCIe card in that slot (now using XikeStor 310 Thunderbolt to Ethernet adapter).
    • Lack of 5.1 makes this a no sale. What I really wish creative would make would be a USB version that supports 5.1 analog audio for speakers, can switch to headphone mode, and matches the specs of their top tier cards. The current X870E AMD motherboards dont have a great option for adding a PCIE x1 card without cutting down pcie lanes to the graphics card.
    • The Microsoft Office feature that time forgot by Usama Jawad I have been actively using Microsoft Word for the past couple of decades in academic, professional, and personal capacities. Although I used it through the perpetual version of Office apps at the start, I have been an active subscriber of Microsoft 365 Family subscription for over five years now. This means that my Word installation is regularly updated with new features, some of which I don't really like, but that's beside the point. As new features get continuously added, old ones that used to be a staple of Word have started to take a backseat. While I was reminiscing over my Windows experiences from my childhood today, I suddenly remember one such capability that I heavily used in my younger years but have not really touched in over a decade, and haven't seen in documents created by others either. That feature is WordArt. Just to clarify, WordArt is not a Microsoft product specific to Word, and is included in other Office apps like PowerPoint and Excel too. However, Microsoft Word is the app that I used Word Art in heavily, while making assignments or other deliverables for school. If you're unaware, WordArt offers a collection of styling techniques for text, introducing 3D effects like shadows and reflections in the text. It used to be one of the coolest things ever when I was at school and me and my classmates would often compete to ensure that our assignment's title in WordArt was truly the best and stood out above the rest. See some examples of WordArt, still present in the latest versions of Word below: Although WordArt is undeniably cool, it has taken a bit of a backseat, and has been relegated from the Home tab to the Insert toolbar, along with a bunch of other utilities, making it very easy to miss. This isn't exactly surprising because WordArt doesn't really have a place in academic and professional documents anymore, and while I have seen some creatives using it while developing promo material, even that sector has gravitated more towards dedicated graphic designing tools in the past years. For the vast majority of us, WordArt doesn't really exist, and that's alright. At least, it's still an option that can allow us to reminisce our childhood or even make some quick text stylization, if we really need it. Perhaps its usage has waned over time or the novelty has worn off, but I haven't even seen children use it in their academic assignments anymore. In fact, many don't even know that it exists. Maybe that's the fate of every beloved feature. What once felt cutting edge eventually becomes a relic, quietly tucked away as tastes, trends, and technology move on. WordArt may no longer dominate school assignments or decorate the covers of classroom projects, but for those of us who grew up with it, it remains a colorful reminder of a time when making text glow, bend, and cast giant shadows felt like the height of creativity. Hidden behind a few clicks in modern Word, it still survives not as a productivity tool, but as a small piece of computing nostalgia that refuses to disappear.
