Zune Theme Modified To True Royale Black Theme!

Many users were asking for a true ?Royale Black? theme since they didn't care for the orange start button that accompanies the new Zune theme. I wanted to create a true black theme so I modified the Zune theme and changed the start button to match the black start bar perfectly. Also, when you highlight the start button, Zune orange appears and then gets lighter or darker, depending on the version, once you click through mimicking previous Windows themes. I also included a new Shellstyle.dll, which is optional and included within the download, so that users that didn't like the orange task bar menus can replace them with black task bars that match the start bar. Instructions and images are included below and via a read me file in the downloadStart Button Position Images:

There are two versions of this mod, a light and dark that change how the start button is highlighted once you click it. You can compare images 3 (light) and 4 (dark), above, and decide which mod you want. I happen to prefer the dark as it seems to flow more with the black theme although the light looks great toDownload Light Version (Image 3 Above):

actually if you already installed the original version all you have to do is copy the files that are in the download into the file that they are in for the original and it works fine simply either restart the computer or change to the regular xp theme and then change back to zune and it all works out fine. just so you know.

I now created two versions of this mod, a light and dark that change how the start button is highlighted once you click it. You can compare the images below as the image on the left is the light and the right is the dark, nd decide which mod you want. I happen to prefer the dark as it seems to flow more with the black theme although the light looks great too.

Give me a break... man there is always a fun-kill/narc around somewhere. Shouldn't you be collecting and sorting through IP addresses to help the MPAA and RIAA identify file-sharers'?

Follow the rules and people wouldn't get on you about them. That's common sense. You can also stop acting like a kid with your immature comments like above  It's also very annoying that you're acting as if the modding you're doing to this theme is the greatest mod that's ever been done to a theme

That leaked Royale Noir theme beats any mod you're doing to this thing ;) All you're doing is changing colors or making them darker.

Oh I beg to differ...Fifthe1ement work is a whole lot better and cleaner :)

    • This is about the already discredited 2025 announcement. Not the current one, which I've heard nothing negative about in the academic literature.
