Havnt got my vista rtm key

Recommended Posts

Although this is true and we still have 23 days, Microsoft did say that the keys will arrive within 7 days so I think people are anxious because of that.

I actually have 30 days now because I uninstalled the x86 and installed x64 :)

Right but the truth is that you WILL get a key eventually and until then there isn't anything that stops you from fully enjoying the OS. The only thing is the message that tells you to activate but it only comes up once every few days and it goes away if you close it.

Kiddies.....calm down and grow up. Microsoft will not forget to send out the keys. Please remember that here in the US that yesterday was a national holiday and that most likely the entire staff is off now until Monday.

Most if not all of us have probably 22-23 days left to activate. So take a deep breath and calm down. Besides, it's black Friday, go shopping for holiday gifts.

Now we are gona get the key's but remember if you look at the email closely they do state ( usally takes inside 1 week ) they dont promise 1 week.

Now one other thing i would like to specify, i know there is some people that thinks they will be able to do like in the old day's ( give out the key on the net or to friends etc.etc. ) remember this time it is different ( they are unique ) so that means you can't do this as per you will get locked down.

Now i wonder who will come here or somewhere else on the net to complain they got locked out, so i can rofl at them hummmmmm :)

That would be so cool to see, hahaha

Subject: Update to RTM Key Availability

Dear --------,

As an update to your complimentary copy of Windows Vista, please be aware that keys have not yet been made available to selected participants. We are anticipating to have these available this week and will send you email notification when you may request your key from Connect.

In the meantime, you may do a PID-less install by clicking "Next" at the activation screen.

To help provide the best response to other beta inquiries, please do not send mail to the alias requesting a key or status.

Best regards,

Windows Beta Team
