Adobe Reader 8.0 Released

Oh goody! I hope it comes with Adobe PhotoShop Crap Edition and at least 2 or 3 toolbars. Then I hope it takes forever to download and install just like version 7. Hopefully it will also put yet another program in my Startup folder *without asking* to make my computer login that much slower.

Or I can skip it and read PDFs with version 6. It's not like I need to do much besides view and print anyway, it's a reader.

Someone give Adobe some Pepto Bismol to help with the bloat.

i can't tell if you're being serious or not, but you can download it without any toolbars and i'm pretty sure you can disable the startup service. try it, it's much faster than 7.

20.8MB = a couple seconds of unwasted bandwidth... I don't see why people whine about minuscule sizes. As if a broadband connection hacks up some blood up when you do so...

you seem to think everyone is on broadband. Not the case.

what are you running a 512 MB harddrive with a 28.8k dialup connection?

LOL! And i'm loving version 8 :)

HAHA! i love you people that complain about things being like 20MB plus! OH NOES!! loltruck, get a good internet connection and stop complaining!

Also.. more RAM wouldnt go a miss! with vista coming out soon everyone should be considering 2GB min!

You can run Vista fine with 1 GB. I'd wouldn't consider 2 GB to be a standard just yet.
