Mac OS X 'Leopard'-related Discussion

Recommended Posts

anyone here have problems with the SHARED list on Finder? yesterday I could see all the Windows computer on the Network now I don't see anything. :/

It goes on and off for me too. It usually takes a while though for all my networked shares to show up by themselves. When that happens, I just use Go -> Connect to server. Saves me the hassle.

This is hardly the place to start a hardware discussion, DDR RAM does make a difference, otherwise why the hell did we bother creating DDR2 RAM in the first place. All my games on 5000+ and higher machines run faster on Vista than on XP, FACT!

Regardless, this is a Mac OS X thread and Mac OS X is better then Windows XP and Vista combined, and that too is, FACT

I dont see how or where these facts are coming from.... looks like they are all inside your head... obviously dd2 is better than ddr but you didnt exactly stat that! (DDR isn't cheaper anyways...FACT!) (and DDR2 makes like 1 FPS difference!! in games and maybe 1/3 of a second faster on applications... its actually probably slower on applications because of the timings.. rofl)

anyways some of the new features in leopard are fairly decent but i still would rather use ubuntu on my macbook... for work and study... Mac OS X is awesome for Media stuff though! I'm just annoyed at the spaces if i could use the scroll and move desktops in a cube it would be soooooo much better!

Leopard is faster and mail IMAP is fixed :D woohooo!! and that new folderview is awesomez!!

Changing the transparency was scrapped because of changes they made in the GM as he said in his blog.
