Rapidshare is dead... Let's switch!

Yea megaupload is good my friend owns that, he said soon he will be getting more bandwidth and speed put into that so soon it should be faster :)

Hate to tell you, but megauploads is the biggest garbage ever :x

Whenever i had to use it (because some idiot uploaded something there), it was always extremely slow - pitiful 20kb/s at the very best, most often even well below that.

So that's why I curse everyone who uploads there to bloody hell and back

There are certainly many other free upload options (besides rapidshare) with decent speed so you don't have to use this braindead megaupload garbage :x

I tried divshare and it's not bad (pretty cool actually).

BUT there is one thing - they will put ads in the near future, so let's hope they wont be way too intrusive.

Yeah somethings got to pay for the site unfort

The only problem with rapidshare is it reads the ip address wrong.

It wont read the actual ip but rather the transparent proxy your isp puts you through. So everyone on your isp has an extremely small chance of ever downloading something. Yes, I'm pointing towards ntl.

My Rapidshare was due to expire 4th jan 2006. Used Paypal to make a further 12 month sub on 5th Jan 2006. Paypal had my earlier details for rapidshare and sent off the payment. Now I find that I have been credited to Rapidshare.de not Rapidshare.com which was in use till 5th Jan. Now get a receipt for payment from Rapidshare.de with a notice that the server is full so I cannot download. What gives? during last year there was no problem in de. transferring to .com. Now they appear not to want to help in any way. Any suggestions would be welcome other than sending them another 79 euros.

It is fairly obvious that the two are connected.

No wonder the net is getting to be like a Robbers Roost.

    • Not sure what country you’re in but in many countries you can absolutely jail the sellers behind businesses… in fact I’d say in most countries you can do that
    • I guess we are done since you refuse to read my comment you replied to or my other comment in another thread you were also a part of here.
    • I hate Slack, but Teams is much worse - maybe they've already optimized it, but it was a huge slog the last time I've checked about half a year ago. I miss my Skype.
